Oh no, I agree with you both, I didn't mean that the Chief's bar scene was funny (not at all!)
I just meant he can now be included in this list of "best bar scenes" because it was such a shock seeing him like that. (Note the name of this thread is not "funniest bar scenes" or "sexiest bar scenes") It was very sad and painful for me to watch also, and frankly, I'm very mad at him for now involving Mer in his sad secret. But I'm sure she will be the mature one and do the right thing where he is concerned.

After last night's episode I keep wondering why the Chief would go to Joe's bar to drink when he knows everyone from the hospital goes there after work, unless deep down he WANTS to be caught.
