• Shonda Rhimes Opens Up On Meredith, "Transitional" Season Six (7/23/2009)

  You know, the more I think about it, it was just the way the whole article was worded that has upset everybody. Starting out by saying everybody will be walking out the door with TR Knight. Eventually. Why even make a comment like that? I truly think the whole issue here is that everybody will be there the remaining (2) years on their contract and from now until then SHonda is trying to think about each character and decide where they are going and alot of that will probably depend on the actor and if they will stay longer than the 7 seasons. Lets hope that is all this was, just Shonda thinking out loud and if we are lucky, everybody will stay for the duration of the show, which I hope will be several more years to come!.....Kathy
  

• Shonda Rhimes Opens Up On Meredith, "Transitional" Season Six (7/23/2009)

  First of all, I hope that Grey's is on the air for MANY years to come! I hope that all of the actors will stay as long as the show lasts! I guess now that T.R. decided to leave, it has made Shonda realize that any of the actors at this point could decide to leave especially after their contract expires at the end of season 7. Then there will probably be alot of questions on who is staying and who is leaving at that point. As Shonda also stated, I'm sure she hopes that Ellen would stay for the duration of the show too, but I guess now that she is having a baby that she may decide to leave before then. I'm also wondering if Patrick is the actor that asked for alittle more free time and more of a creative role in the show. We all know that Patrick will be in a couple of movies coming up and possibly working on his on movie next summer, so you could see that he may want alittle more time to do these things especially since Ellen will be out for a short period maternity leave. I just hope that these two in particular decide to stay for the duration of the show and will still continue to have a big storyline. I just want everything to stay as it is but I guess SHonda has to start thinking about theses characters and where they are headed and especially the actors playing them. I feel that Patrick will hang in there for the duration. He has commented so many times that he is so lucky to have a job and he gets to race when he can and his acting helps pay for that. So, hopefully he will remain with the show and I think Ellen (hopefully) will too! Lets hope so! What is everybody else thinking?? Am I worring for NO reason right now??......Kathy
  

• A McDreamy Day at the Races (6/15/2009)

  I also thought after the race ended, wonder if Ellen (because they are good friends) or anyone else from the show kept up with the race this week-end and called to congratulate him? I hope they did, especially, Ellen!....Kathy

  I try so hard NOT to read the spoilers, but sometimes I can't help myself.  I just love to hear good things are happening where Mer/Der are concerned and that makes me SO happy, but then if I read something that isn't so good I wish that I had not even read it becuse then it puts me in a bad mood or dreading to watch the episode.  So, I know its better to stay away frorm spoilers if you can! (ha)!

  YEY!    Grey's starts back to work next week on July 15th according to Patrick Dempsey!

   Just knowing the Grey's cast are heading back to work soon seems to make our wait for Sept. not quite as long!  I can't wait to start hearing good things about the upcoming episodes!.....Kathy
