First Promos For "Love/Addiction" (9/29/2007)
I think the ratings were lower this year due to the lack of "build-up" pre-premeire. Last year, we saw a music video with snipits of new episodes, and it was heavily marketed (successfully, I might add). This year, the promos all included snipits from last season, which we already saw last season. Everybody wanted to see McDreamy and Meredith reunite after her return from the "honeymoon" trip with Christina... and we did get to see it at the very last possible second of the episode... after the torture of "break-up" talk. There are lots of neat places that their relationship could take them, besides this rollercoaster ride of mostly dips. After the entire near-death experience of last episode, give me a break... they should now be in a happy place together - not criticizing each other's snoring, or breaking up. Otherwise, what was the point?!

A possible Grey's Anatomy uh-O...anyone have any info? (2/8/2007)
So I'm thinking the "last kiss" was before they went to work... Think about how they set this up tonight: an argument about him always being there, etc. The fact that Christina wanted to tell Meredith that she was engaged & didn't, how she watched Mer get into the back of the ambulance and drive away... And then the unpleasant conversation between Derek & Mer on the dock and his comment about "good - you don't want to get married" -- and then she's drowning... The foreshadowing was there at the beginning of the episode -- how Derek saved her from "drowning in the bath tub" and the episode ends with her drowning in the bay... Interesting. Brilliantly written.
