Had to finally register for this forum just to answer that question! Marissa was played by Madeline Zima, who starred for 6 years as Gracie Sheffield on "The Nanny", one of the greatest sitcoms ever! Check it out on Lifetime TV, in the pilot ep she is just a little kid with no front teeth!
