I think it was really bitchy of mer to dump derek, after everything they've gone through, she is so self destructive.
Also, I think although cristina was pretty upset (who wouldn't be after being left at the alter!) but she was also relieved, she screamed "i'm free" at the end. So i guess she can go back to being herself.
Also, one last thing i reckon that the chief will ask miranda to be either his assistant or just full chief. she didn't get head resident so obviously there is something better that he has in store for her, however i doubt he will make her head chief coz he said a few ep's ago that she isn't ready yet.
