Grey's Anatomy Forum: "Good Mourning" and "Goodbye" (9/25/2009)
I really enjoyed this episode. The scenes where they each shared the voiceover and you saw the way they were each handling George's death made me cry - Meredith finally breaking down was heart-breaking, as was Izzie saying goodbye to George. I could sense the tone of change but I don't think it was that evident so as to take away from saying goodbye to George. For George fans, there was never going to be enough saying goodbye cos we miss him, and I still don't believe George's story should have ended like that, but his death has set the tone for change and you can kinda see it coming head on now with the merger with Mercy West. Good episode, sad but not toooo heartwrenching you couldnt watch, and makes me want to watch some earlier eps with all our interns stretched out on those hospital beds..

I am soooo excited for the premiere - these pictures are awesome. I think we are in for a really intense couple of episodes. greysanatomyinsider staff, you may want to amend a few of your captions on the photos? The girl crying at the funeral isnt Olivia, its the girl George saved. And, the girl you credit in a couple of the hospital pics as the girl George saved isnt her, its someone else altogether. 8 days to go, and counting..!

Owen and Cristina (11/13/2009)

I wanted to open discussions about Owen and Cristina. I haven't really been as invested in any couple since MerDer and last year I felt the chemistry and build up between Cristina and Owen and was really rooting for them! Still am.

This season, though, since they had that session with the shrink, it seems all too easy and now suddenly we're thrown a curveball with Teddy. It may be what we need to re-create the chemistry but I havent felt much consistency in their story. Suddenly Owen is better and there are no issues... it just doesnt feel too real.

Does anyone else share these thoughts/observations as well, or something different?
