Mark, Hahn, and the Chief sit in the cafeteria. Cristina and Callie sit and gossip about Izzie and George, as Tricia's fellow cheerleaders visit her in the hospital, and Marissa says goodbye to Danny before his surgery.

Izzie throws Emma and Janie out of Danny's room. Rose talks to Derek after the surgery, and Callie tells Tricia that her injury could be a gift.

Mandy (a.k.a. Miranda) visits Marcus after the surgery, but can't give him a long Bailey speech. Alex welcomes Lexie to the alcoholic dads club. Dr. Bailey vents to Derek.
