what i think happens

what I think will happen… okay, im sure someone had this idea but i was too lazy to read through all the pages lol…ill get to it though :o) I think that Mer will spend most the episode talking to denny and bomb guy…dead…then, i think ellis will flatline, and end up in the same in between type place mer is. mer will get the chance to talk to lucid (dead) ellis, and ellis will finally tell her that shes proud of her and how much ellis wishes her life had been ‘ordinary’. mer willget a seond chance at life, and even when she wakes up to find her mother has died, she will have closure that she never would have had if she had been awake while ellis was dying. just a thought.Posted 2/16/2007 1:00:00 AM #

That seems perfect in every way it possibly can. Mer waking up is all I can ever want right now.Posted 2/16/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I doubt they would flatline Ellis at the same time as Meredith; in addition, her condition was in no way critical. Remember, even the surgery she is going to have was unnesecary since it can usually be controlled with meds? In addition, Ellis wouldn't end up in a room with those particular people, they have no emotional connection to her.Posted 2/16/2007 1:00:00 AM #

perhaps, but ellis does have an extremely threaten heart condition...one that was emergent enough to be operated upon a day after diagnoses. My guess is we will spend the most of next episode with Mer in her "purgatory" or what have you, and then Ellis will enter the scene. The spoilers coming from the writers said two people would die, one deathw ould stick. However, I'd almost rather be completely surprised. I'm with you though, orbiting...why Dylan and Denny? There's no huge emotional attachment from them to Mer...I guess we'll find out next week! :o)Posted 2/16/2007 1:00:00 AM #

It's true that Denny and Dylan have no huge emotional attachment to Ellis but then again Dylan didn't have a huge emotional attachment to Mer. They just went through a life or death ordeal together and not exactly by choice. Plus they can do they a kind of six degrees of seperation. If Ellis flat lines it makes sense that Mer would see her regardless of the other men because Ellis is her mother. She would be a part of her daughter's after life.Posted 2/16/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Dylan may not have a connection to Meredith but I think she has a connection to him. She'd seen patients die, of course, but his death was directly connected to her. I think it'd make sense he was there.Posted 2/16/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Oh I know I'm not saying it doesn't make sense for him to be there I'm just saying that in things like this you wouldn't need an obvious connection between any of them.Posted 2/16/2007 1:00:00 AM #

okay i was thinking and what if, while mer is out, her mom becomes lucid again, like what she was talking about with the phantom diseases and she has the heart surgery and something goes wrong (nothing burkes fault or anything) and she dies. idk just a scenarioPosted 2/17/2007 1:00:00 AM #
