Why haven't E or any of those entertainment news sources picked up on THAT quote from Shonda- cos that is like, huge. It seems very un-Shonda to give away something that big as well...and Ausiello and others have said in no uncertain terms it would not be a MerDer wedding this season. I am so confused!

I actually kind of hope it isn't a MerDer wedding- it just seems too rushed and too unlike them to get married that quickly after the engagement. I think it would seem weird.

I think it would make the most sense for Meredith and Derek to get married. Considering they are engaged, and there is a bit of a gap between now and the episode on May 7th, it would be believeable for me. I dont think anyone else really would, because merder is the only couple engaged, so why would another couple get married before them?

But I agree, Shonda wouldn't give out a spoiler like that. She's very secretive about her ideas, even the cast members don't know until very soon before they have to act it, I heard.

That is so exciting. I would be even more happy than I am now! But all the spoilers have said that it isn't mer and der that get married. I am so confused

Okay well when I just googled this, quite a few news sources are quoting Shonda saying that Mer and Der will get married in the 100th episode (same quote as in the above article). I think the party that she said it at was only on Friday night, so it is still quite recent news...but it does seem reliable at this point. Which is amazing. I am trying not to get too excited in case it isn't true but I think it is too late. MerDer Wedding in 'Beautiful Day'!! :D

Article also says if they decide to keep her, Katherine Heigl will stay on. I can't wait until we get to see this all play out. I couls see this happening by May 7th. Maybe they have it seem like a lot of time has passed in between Elevator Love Letter and Sweet Surrender. Can't wait!!!!

That's all not Shonda. As you all said, she's very carefull and keeps things in secrecy. But if she indeed said it (I´ve my doubts), I will believe in what the show's creator and writer said instead of Ausiello and co :P

At this point, I've to say that a MerDer wedding would be indeed very surprising to me! Everyone is routing for a Alex/Izzie or Mark/Lexie wedding and also they go engaged last episode. A super fast wedding would be quite socking having in mind their whole relationship.

We'll have to wait and see...
