   She's older than we think; remember she took a few years off at some point. Crisina is also older- remember she got a Ph.D before going to medical school.

   I don't think she should have played an older doctor. One of the major points of the show is how unexpectedly difficult her internship is. Not to mention, the other point is that she is in love with her boss. It wouldn't be as scandalous if it were an attending-attending thing. Intern-attending is much more riskayyy.
