Is George gone for good?
-
Just read an article...not sure if it's accurate or not but here it is:
this part caught my attention:
(talking about George) "He never made it. In the episode's crowning twist, O'Malley was revealed to be the unrecognizably bloodied, injured John Doe who had pushed a woman out of the path of a bus and been struck by it himself. He died a hero in Seattle.
But O'Malley wasn't the only casualty among the major characters."
is this saying he's dead for sure? he was still alive when mer discovered it was george. anyone have any thoughts?

It's also says that he's not the only casuality, refering to Izzie... It's a bit of a sensacionalist article, imo!
We only know that Izzie was flat line receiving cpr and George was on the OR and they're losing him... We will only know if they live or die in fall!

George was not dead...yet. Owen said "we're losing him" so he definitely wasn't dead yet. I think they'll do something like they did with Mer in season 3 when she drowned and "died". So, whoever wrote that is WRONG!!

I believe he is gone as sad as i am and as pissed off as i am about it all. this is how i see it Izzie goes in the elevator and the door opens and there stands George..already outside the elevator, maybe it's just me seeing it as a medafor but i see it as he's already crossed (the doors) to the other side and she's still on the elevator waiting to get off. just my opinion..BUT DAMN YOU WRITERS FOR KILLING HIM THAT WAY....I LOVE YOU GEORGE, ALWAYS WILL

I refuse to believe either are gone... at this point we really don't know... at this point we only know that they are both in limbo... teetering b/t life and death...
my best hope is that Izzie feels them bringing her back and tells George that they are trying to bring her back and of course, George will tell her to go and live on (b/c he loves her so) and she will do a classic Izzie move where she reaches out and grabs him quickly, yanking him back into the elevator with her saying "I am not going back w/o you, George!" and they both live!!!
I can not stand the thought of losing either. I am choosing to be optimistic.
To quote Izzie Stevens (epi 3.16 "Drowning on Dry Land"):
"I believe that, in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, that we will be okay..... I believe we survive, George. I believe that believing we survive... is what makes us survive."

OMG, that quote..greysaddiction, I just hope Izzie's & George's fate will turn out according to this quote cause otherwise, to me, this very piece of writing is the absolute lowpoint of Grey's. Funny u quoted that..:)
This is beyond cheesy and absolutely fake and so bad it's beyond words. And this comes from somebody who LOVES Grey's, really, I do.
Sorry Greysaddiction, u pushed a button here, sorry for the ranting, I might gone slightly mental after this finale...:D

Lara Aubergine-- I refuse to believe it completely until a viable source confirms it (i.e. TRK himself, ABC or Shonda)... hang in there and keep hoping for the best and keep speaking up everywhere on TR's and George's behalf!
A recent pic of TR for you all-- hope it cheers you a bit!

Exactly my point, greysaddiction! I couldn´t have put it in better words. The ONLY thing we know FOR SURE is that they are both in limbo, teetering between life and death. As Meredith was when she drowned.
And I can see that scene you described EXACTLY as you told! Lol! George telling Izz to go back, and Izzie saying she won´t without him! I say you find Shonda and grab her by the neck and make her do it as you said! ;)
