Hi Y'all I thought it would be kind of fun to know how you chose your nickname. Here is mine: Pschyrembel is the most popular German medical dictionary. I don't think it completely matches Gray's anatomy, but since I have not studied Medicine and it was the only medical book on my shelf I kind of figured it would be a good name. Also it sounds a little bit like Psychology and that is what you need to know to understand the ups and downs of Grey's. I hope you like it.... Actually Pschyrembel was a famous doctor and there is still a procedure to examine pregnant women called like him.

your name has always sounded really strange to me!!! i did german for 6 years in school (many years ago!!!) it is good to have an understanding of it at last - like on the voices thread - the names of all the characters in different countries. in ireland we hear it in english so no different to the states. i'm irish to its obvious - seriously!!! do you remember the episode where george had the elderly patient and she called him irish??? well i really crap at making up names - its either my real name or irish - i very short on imagination!!!

I'm glad this is up. My actual name is Chandra. I am NOT Chandra Wilson nor would I pretend to be. I never even thought of it until after I registered and I was posting something about a Chandra Wilson pic. I was rolling my eyes at myself and that's why I signed it 'Chandra N.' But it's so rare I can just use my name so sorry for the confusion if there was any. :) Chandra N.

What a fun idea! My name is from my favorite romantic movie heroine, Titanic Rose.

This is really nice. I remember that old lady calling George the Irish boy. Do you like the names of PD twins, aren't they supposed to be Irish, too (Darby & Galen)? Actually Germans don't get it so good: Bailey being called the Nazi... hmm, but it was very funny when Burke's Mom told Christina how inappropirate it is to call Bailey like that and a little later Christina warns Meredith" Bailey is on the warpath (noticing Burke's Mom can hear her)- not the German warpath, but on warpath in general. Chandra: I just thought you are a fan of Chandra Wilson. This is really funny. Did you find any other similarities yet? Rose: I thought of Titanic right away - I loved that movie, too - first time I went to the movies with my husband.

Hi Pschyrembel, I've never heard of any irish person being called Darby or Galen!!! although they would be considered irish names but quite unusual. There is the film "darby o'gill and the little people" which is full of leprechauns and shamrocks blah blah blah and sure we all have them at the end of our gardens!!! patrick, dempsey and sullivan are names you would come across every day though. yes, i suppose the german references are not so good although they are meant to be taken in good humour. i never associated rose with titanic. imagine i have never seen it. my 11 year old has and one day i asked him what happened in the end and he said that the boy drowned but the girl survived. i said no, what happened to the boat to which he replied - oh, that sank!!!

It was a thursday morning. You were wearing that ratty Dartmouth T-shirt that you look so good in-with the hole in the back of the neck. You'd just washed your hair and you smelled like some kind of flower. I said I was going to be late for surgery. You said you'd see me later. And then you leaned into me, put your hand on my chest and kissed me. Soft. Fast. like a habbit, like we would be doing it everyday for the rest of our lives. you went back reading the paper, and I went to work. That was the last time we kissed. I didn't choose this name cause its gross, or I like body parts blowing up. this episode changed MERDER's relationship and when I think of Pink Mist I think of this episode and then I think of McDreamy's monologue of their last kiss.I am not dark & twisty I just really love the last 10 min of that episode. I am a sucker for romance and since I don't have any in my life right now I had to choose a name that was bitter sweet.
