i had a grey's anatomy season three sunday LOL... and when i was at episode 12 (six days part 2)... i noticed that almost at the end, in the scene between alex and addie, he was drinking a beer.. a very funny and inteligent beer LOL... the beer's foam was at the top and then was lower, and then again at the top, and then it wasn't LOL... and the position of the beer is in constant change..Posted 4/16/2007 1:00:00 AM #

George (?) said, he used Meredith's bathroom when Izzie was mourning for Denny in the other bathroom, but Meredith uses the same bathroom George and Izzie use when they talk about George buying "girls stuff" and when Callie does not wash her hands right away. Have we mentioned this error before? When Burke helps Izzy cook thanksgiving dinner she says she can bake but not cook but when she and George are trying to get meredith to agree to them being her room mates Izzy tells Meredith she "can cook and is a compulsive cleaner". ok. wait i am in no way qualified to speak medical. but i do know that there are different types of internship and it's not unusual for some people to complete med school early. yeah super huh?! anyways, like some of the writers once said, that they do take some liberty in changing some things. since its a tV show i think the attendings are at the age that they are in simply for attraction. but truly attendings would normally be in their 50's and up. anyhow, I've heard that Judge Judy received her BA in three years and received her Masters just as fast. so it's not surprising for some people to finish their med degree within 12 years or less. In general I think the show is right about the 6-7 year surgical internship. But the first year internship is a prelim in which interns rotates in all departments of the hospital just like what the interns are doing now at SGH. anyhow, after the first year general surgery, interns have a choice of continuing a general surgery pathway or a specialty in which i think Burke did choose such as Cardiothoracic surgery when he was at John's Hopkins. In terms of Cristina, like I said it's not unusual for some people to have multiple degrees and or finish at such a fast rate. And it really shouldn't surprise us. She's driven and perhaps just studied quarterly and every winter and summer sessions as well. Perhaps she might have grad fom high school at 16 finished her BS in 2-3 years and did the rest taking her MS and PhD at Standord which leads her to finally be 28 or so entering the SGH internship program. This is in no way again qualified to be anything but a generalization. I hope it helps some of you out in terms of medical stuff.Posted 5/2/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I was thinking about Izzie being able to cook, too, but I kind of decided for myself she was bragging a little bit to get the room in Meredith's house. On the other hand she does cook later. Why does she not do the wedding cake? She is great in baking. She could have done that (and why on earth does the bakery have to know what cake Burktina want when she doesn't even have a dress and they don't really know how many people will be there???) I thought of another mistake - when George had his hot date with nurse Olivia he grabbed into Alex' lab coat because "no glove no love". So, how did he get sick, then? He should have been aware of the risk, shouldn't he? I liked the pieces of information about internship. Actually I went to the english wikipedia to catch up a little, because it is way different from Germany and I don't even really know what our doctors have to run through. I think Meredith might be a little older than other interns, because talking to candidates for her rooms she is going strongly for 80s music and she asks one girl where she was when Challenger exploded in 1986 and the girl said she was in kindergarten and Meredith kind of responds with shaking her head. there are sooo many flubbs its not even funny, but thats how you seperate the true fans and just people who watch, true fans know the show better than the writers and creaters. I've tried to add up MER's age and I can only come up with 28, she is way older than that because I was in 1st grade when the Challenger exploded..but when you put the clues together and do the math from what I have found she has to be 28-30...so I don't really know. Cause the Eurhythmics(sp) is soo from the 80's which would make her McDreamy's age...it can be confusing,I still don't know and I don't think Shonda knows for sure, but still entertainingPosted 5/3/2007 1:00:00 AM #
