Any way to keep it civil?

I'm noticing a lot of posters that 'seem' new to this site - also posters that are on a lot of the other GA sites. My issue is - they seem to be more intent on stirring up trouble between individuals than participating in a civil discussion. I hate to suggest banning people, but is there anyway to get these posts removed, or otherwise keep the comments and forums from deteriorating? I really like this site because MOST people can have open discussions and agree to disagree without resorting to namecalling and threats...but it looks like there are several posters that are only interested in bashing somebody (doesn't matter who, or for what)... Just askin' thanks!
