well, i have to say, honestly, i have never really thought about it.
but i know that they are the cutest couple... and derek is just an all around guy... and meredith, i really hae no clue. i just love them together.
you are the first person to make me think about why, but wehen i know, i will post it here! now you are making me thinkk!

they are just so perfect together. She is so broken and he is always there to try to hold her together. It's more romantic how Meredith loves him in her own way and is not always mushy gushy.
Then there is the fact that McDreamy is the sexiest man alive.
I've loved loved loved their love story from the very beginning. The looks they give eachother say more than words ever could and they are perfect for eachother :)

You know why I love them together is because they "get each other" they are in sync. The way they look at each other and have this intense passionate desire and love for each other. This is what makes me love them together. The way he looks at her and the way she sees him. I love the connection they have. And yes, McDreamy is all that, sexy, lovable and very McDreamy and she is cute and funny and she just makes sense to be with him.
Some of us have experienced this and it is awesome if you get that experience. You also learn that pressures of life can sometimes destroy that and it is a reminder of what one can and should have I just hope for once that the series has a good ending and not a sad ending, I think I am tired of sad endings.

hmmm.. i just simply love them together because they work with each other. they are in sync and they are totally in love with each other. all the problems that they have faced in the past if just going to make their relationship stronger than ever. and of course they are just the CUTEST couple EVER. <3
and mcdreamy is simply mcdreamy and meredith is just so cute :)

I love Mer/Der together for so many reasons. First of all I think Patrick and Ellen have amazing chemistry together and that shows on screen. They get each other in so many ways. By having the chemistry that these two share, it just makes everything else fall into place. The smiles, the looks, their laughter, they way they work together. The list goes on and on. I think that these two are the Best Couple on TV and now that we know that they are together for good starting this season, I can't wait to see whats in store for this amazing couple!

My answer is easy: McDreamy makes Meredith believe in love and together they make me believe too!
Remember the episode when she was drowning... even though he made some mistakes, wrong choices, disappointed her, even though she had lost her trust in him, that day when she drawned, he was there and he saved her. When she was nearly dying, he was there, he looked at her as I would like my loved one to look at me! He was desperate, losing himself when he thought he was losing her... no matter all the issues (his as much as hers), they always found the way back to each other, and now I think nothing's ever gonna come between them again. (and maybe she's gonna save him the way he did before...)

Derek is her McDreamy there is no other explanation. He is soo hot and they are so in love!<3 They make the best couple. Its amazing, but i miss their heat.
