I've loved Izzie and Alex from the start, so I'm happy for them and their marriage.

I wonder how they will handle Izzie's return.
I've been a huge fan and A/I since the beginning too, but it's been clear to me ever since about half way through season 2 (after the whole cheating with Nurse Olivia) scenario, that Alex is a lot more into Izzie than Izzie is into Alex. Some reasons why I think this:
He was there for her when Denny died, despite the fact that she told him he wasn't good enough for her.
He still had feelings for her in season 3, and understood when she turned him down.
He told he hoped she wouldn't waste her life pining over Denny, as he thought it was a waste.
He was jealous when he found out about her and George, but in the end he felt guilty when she was crying and apologised (in his own little way).
He trusted her enough to break down in her arms after rebecca tried to off herself.
After she convinced him that she wasn't going to stop caring about him, he totally gave himself up to her and let himself love her 100%.
When she was going crazy with the whole dead denny thing, he was supportive.
He told her he loved her long before she told him.
He told her he didn't want to be the future of seatle grace if she wasn't there with him.
He stood by her when he found out she had cancer, even though it was killing him to do it.
When he thought she was gonna die he married her, to give her her perfect wedding day that she'd always dreamed of. And who can forget those vows.
He ignored the DNR.
He was terrified of losing her in the season 6 premiere and told her that he wouldn't be able to survive without her.
He looked after her when she wasn't looking after herself.
He believed in their marriage.
He consented to live in the trailer with the bears and Tics to keep her happy.
When he finally got through to her on the phone a week after she left him the Dear John letter, he still wanted to make things work.
He cried when she didn't show up for chemio.
What do you think? And also, what are your theories for what comes next for Alex/Izzie?

A/I are my favorite couple. I've always loved them. And I get how some people think Alex loves Izzie more than she loves him, but I disagree. He has done and said some really mean things to her, but she never gave up on him. She was there for him many times, just like he was there for her. Throughout the series they kind of take turns helping eachother when the other one is hurt. And they are real. There aren't any stupid games or hiding their feelings. So I think they'll eventually get back together and everything will be okay. It might take some time and tears, but they're meant to be :)

i totally agree with u nao i love alex and izz so much and if they break up whaen she comes back i will burst in tears and live on the hope that one way or another they will get back togeather they must ,so this sucks how she left him like that and all he did was just being nice to her and love her all the time and she just left now he started to bond with this stupid reed blgh i hate her
