Forever friends of Burke & Cristina

    Gosh, I wish it was Sandra Oh who was leaving, I'd be free. I so damn attached to this character and it's not happiness and definitely there is no entertainment in it, of course this is NO FAULT AT ALL OF SANDRA OH's.

    I have the season one DVD too and there is no way I can watch any past episodes, none. Hell, had they exited the character of Burke better than they did, had they had Mama not be so disgusting to Cristina in the end, I might at least be able to look back on past episodes and think of what could have been storyline wise for the development of both characters without feeling so disgusted.

     

    There's a lot to be said for how they ended the story of this pairing and it was horrible.

     

    They are all talking about KH leaving, I really do hope it's SO instead, I really do, there is nothing left for her character on this show because she is not cared about, by the folks who are in charge of writing about her. She'll always be adored by me and the actress respected by me, I've always enjoyed her work. But I'm tired of seeing her wasted on this show, a show I only tuned into its very first season, because SO was going to be in it.

    Hey Miju,

    It would be quite easy for me to leave also if Sandra O was the one leaving. She is the reason I'm still here.  It would be quite easy for all of us to leave if she goes. All of us are ONLY HERE BECAUSE OF SANDRA O at this point. We held on after they fired IW, hoping and wanting to see how she was going to be treated in future episo. And still Shonda has not done right by Cristina. I really believe Shonda is doing this on purpose. She has to know by now how we all feel about Cristina and Sandra O. Shonda's actions show (to me)she just does not give a darn. I'm going to see how these next (5) episo. turn out. If it's not to my liking I'll bail. But, I do know Shonda is only concerned about Mer/Der. I wonder does she know she has lost the majority of the Mer/Der fan base. She already lost  the majority of the Cristina/Burke fan base. It's just a few of us holding this thing together.

    Now that the Mer/Der fans have experienced the same treatment that she has shown the Cristina/Burke fans they are leaving or have already left in the thousands. This show is circling the drain.

    I don't like how Shonda/Co are writing Cristina's  character. I'm pissed, angry and disgusted. And me knowing me,  ( as much as I love Sandra O.) one day I will just stop watching. That day may be sooner than even I think.

    Hey Gloria-

    Yes Mer/Der is her first priority and that would be fine with me if it did not appear like Gizzie had been her second priority and based on her recent comments in interviews getting back to "our Izzie" seems to be high up on her list, along with every other character who I've read spoilers for except for Cristina and to be fair I don't see anything on Bailey nor Webber.

    Yes she has her priorities but if she shows no care whatsoever to even mention certain other characters then that's a clear message to me that you're not a welcome viewer for our show. I just wish she would get rid of the character that I've become attached to when I thought I had been a welcome viewer from the very beginning.

    It'd be one thing if I was just tuning in, like last season, but I've watched from the beginning only to see my character left with no hope at all.

    I read in (2) intertainment mags that Gizzie is offically dead. Shonda/Co have either finally realized this is not working out (or) was told by the people who finance this ship of fools to drop Gizzie STAT!!! Which is fine with me. They were using too much valuable time with those two idiots anyway. There are better story lines that can be and need to be told. 

    I don't get Shonda. Her writings are undescribable.There is nothing rationale  about her at all. I hope her writings for these next 5 episo. are with substance for ALL the characters.  Hopefully her emotional  state of mind will be on an up swing and that will reflex in the writing. ( we can dream can't we?)

    hi everybody.

    i hope you all had a happy easter weekend.  we have had a great holiday in Ireland.  2 weeks of a holiday as St Patricks weekend fell only last monday so many people have 2 weeks off work / school!!!

    gloria, thank you for your good wishes for st patricks day.  we went to dublin for the weekend and the parade was fantastic.  there were very many americans in the parade, brass bands, majorettes, lots from pennsylvania and alabama this year!!!  lots of americans come to ireland for the festivities.  and yes we managed to drown the shamrock in style!!!  (we got drunk!!!)

    i was watching the film "the princess diaries" this afternoon with some of my children.  my 10 year old son was shouting at the tv "its cristina, its cristina"  im a proud mommy, i have them well trained!!!  i never knew she was in that movie!!!

    im still having lots of problems with this site.  the last post i was able to see was your post gloria on march 12th!!!  i have e-mailed eric twice - the grey's anatomy insider site administrator or computer expert!!!  i can see all the posts today - yipee!!!  whats seldom is wonderful!!! he asked me lots of technical questions which i am ashamed to say i could not answer, i asked him to make allowances for me as i am blonde!!!

    isn't it exciting that at last we will be getting new episodes.  i love reading all the spoilers and speculation.  im hopeful for mer/der and thankful that george/izzie is finally over.  there is nothing really concrete about any of the other actors.  poor cristina, she used to have such strong story lines and she has been so absent this season.

    27 dresses is commencing in Europe this week.  im hoping to go see it during the week.  katherine heigl has been interviewed over here many times in the past few weeks and all the interviewers have said that she was a really lovely girl.  they were all very taken by her and no one had a bad thing to say about her which surprised me to be honest as i had the impression that maybe she was becoming a bit of a diva.  im not her greatest fan, but maybe i am confusing izzie (who i am not liking at all this season) with katherine.

    i'd better go for now.  best wishes to you all.  maybe those who cannot post can read posts???  i know many of you are having difficulties with the site.  hello especially to rose, ausfan and belgian grey who i havent seen posting for such a long time.  i hope you are all well and i miss your posts.  gloria has my e-mail address if you would like to say hello.

    Hope you all had a great weekend/Holiday.

    Well, I just had to let all of you about this.  Greys A. We all know how it ended. Well here is how it will begin for episo 1-5. (don't  kill the messenger)

    According to Shonda ...George will start  moving towards " becoming that other guy", Rhimes says. T.R.Knight says " that's a huge relief". " He's been such a mess for so long, making weird choices, it'll be nice to see him grow up a little quicker."( Helping him to  get there?) The Chief(James Pickens Jr), who will take George under his wing. 

    Christina ( Sandra Oh), meanwhile, will have her own Professional crisis over Hahn's resident, and Ava/Rebecca (Elizabeth Reaser) will be back for (3) episodes. Also, making a brief return: Addison (kate Walsh) There are a couple of surgeries only she can perform," says Rhimes," and there are a lot of relationships only she has. It's going to be a very significant visit for a lot of the characters--- particularly Addison."

     And we've saved the best for last: While Rose is returning for all (5) episo., Meredith and McDreamy will be getting back together " for good", says Rhimes. "The goal was not always to get them together at the end of the season, but that is my goal now.'....

    On that note ( last statement of Shonda) Let me refresh... Her goal NOW is to get them back together by season end..UMmm...That's her goal NOW!!! (or) could it be

    No Fans=No $ $ $,=No Advertisements,=No Show. DO YOU THINK!!!

    I don't believe Shonda is doing all this of her own  free will.  I guess my thoughts about her being hit in the head with some creative writing skills came to fruition.  Or , just the meer fact that Greys cannot afford to lose another 10 million fans. and that's just straight up!!!

    I'm quite sure ABC had something to do with this change, since it is their $$ out there swinging in the breeze.

    Note.. Does anyone other than me remember me posting last year about having Addision come back about 1-2 a year to visit Grey's A. Just wondering??????

    Now if they need help with Cristina...Hafsa and I could help there. Seriously!!!  And again NO Postive info re: Cristina, why am I NOT surprised!!

    hope you had a wonderful easter......omg thanks for the vote of confidence.......i just send you and e-mail.

    It will do george good to finally grow up.......finally! christina will have her own stroryline. I hope she does something reasonable with Ava........I am actually looking forward to see addison again.

    As for merder........well we will see.
