Forever friends of Burke & Cristina

I've been trying to post  here but couldn't get through always.  Anyway, happy, happy birthday, Gloria!  The greetings might be belated but the affection is forever.

And yes, what's with Heigl.  Unanimous reactions to her conduct were:  she's drunk, envious, childish, bratty  and  more,  all unflattering!  TRK  looked so pathetic,  powerless over  the  bully  that  was his best friend.

    Hi Bay,

Thank you for the BD greetings.

Loved your post as always. You are so right in the description of Kh. She really believes all that she does is cute and worldly. She doesn't have a clue as to how bad she looks. I think she has one of those trick mirrors at home. When she looks into it she sees what she wants to see. What I find so funny and sad is that none of the fools around her will tell her. Not even her  husband. How weak is that.

So, Let me just ask this question. Is T R Knight her only friend? And does he have any friends? The two of them deserve each other, but I was just wondering.

He is such a weak man, to allow her to treat him that way in public. I read in one the enterment mags, that a fan was waiting to see her (don't know where she was) to give her some flowers and she brushed the man  aside. She has really let this Hollyweird stuff go to her head.

Did any of you guys see the home page re: KH leaving Greys. Now, you know I had to put my 2 cents in.

Okay, I'm going now. I just got in. Will talk tomorrow. Love to you all.!!!

    Hey Guys,

I just received a few text mess. re: Shonda puting a hold on a new love interest for Cristina. (since Joshua is not coming. Thank Heaven I say!!!

Also hold on to your hats... No Mer/Der drama the first episode. But, there will be a flash forward taking us fans a few months ahead  where Der and Rose are at the end of their latest date.UMmm.. Also in this same episode there is something about a contest at  SGH to determine who is the BEST Doctor.

Well we all here know that's Cristina Yang.!!! Seriously!!!

Okay, I'll talk later. I have to think about all this.

    Belgian Grey,

I think you are right about HG and PD competing for the most pictures on this site.

Is that all Shonda can come up with? A contets for best doctor (insert roll of the eyes). I guess the season really is over, at least IMO.

I personally do not care about some contest for best doctor, when we spent the first for seasons focusing on who would be the best qualified in the chief's contest. I am not interested in some dumb competition. Competition is good but to me it's just more BS from the writers to avoid writing the meaty in depth character driven material.

    Miju,

I'm still pondering over this info. So the only thing I can say right now is. Shonda /Co are really in trouble in the writing dept. I still can't see what a contest has to do with the (7) unfinished storylines that are out there swing in the breeze.

I am trying to hang onto hope as long as I can. But, this does not look good. I for one need to see some serious drama, outlandish funny and down right meaty story lines. Idon't believe they are ready to return April 24th. They really should wait till the fall. I don't mind waiting.

But, then again that's just me.  I'm out, will  talk tomorrow.

    Hey Gloria-

I wish Shonda wouls stop trying to make this show cutesy. I always liked the humor, realistic humor that the show portrayed. Laughing during tragic times like when George's brother's broke wind because well as gross as that was sometimes that happens especially when you're experiencing what that family was. But that scene was funny because it got the family out of it's dispear just for a moment and they all started to laugh along with Callie. It was just realistice to me.

Laughing at Cristina's reaction to her mother first meeting Burke and how embarrased Cristina was by what her mother was saying to Burke. That was funny, realistic funny.

But somehow the realism on this show is just being destroyed with each episode and the cutesy is not cute at all it's just looks out of place and juvenile like Izzie getting ready to fight Callie in the cafeteria over George.

Sorry, but as real as it is that women still lower themselves to fisticuffs over some man, in this scene, with the character of Izzie doing it, it just came off as horribly fake and juvenile. It was ridiculous and I believe we were actually if not to find it cute, we were to find it funny, I am very sure that, that scene was Shonda's idea of breaking up the tension and adding the funny. That entire eppy was nothing but a repeat to me of "Yesterday" which was also about how a few of the characters were in childhood, like Mer, Crisitna and Bambi, except that eppy focused more on Mer's daddy issues and being left, Cristina's need for perfection which they failed miserably to expand on how that very much influenced how she handled the apartment issue with Burke and keeping  it a secret, and then Bambi's insecurities of being not seen nor heard which eventually led to the bad, bad, bad.... sex with Mer.

She is so NOT a good dramatic writer, nor comedy writer either so she better pick drama and just stick to it.

I have been unsuccessfully trying to post on this site. I wonder if this will make it.
