Hi guys! I'm new but like all of you, I'm a huge fan of Cristina. I think that first of all, she's such a fascinating character who's got so many dimensions to her personality. I'm really disappointed that nothing exciting has happened to Cristina in Season 4 and I do hope she gets a good storyline after the strike. The animosity that Dr. Hahn displays towards her is almost unbelievable for me because if I recall correctly, in Season 3, she says that she sees a lot of herself in Cristina and says that she's lucky to bhave Burke for a teacher. Hi everyone, I read the fan petition on the home page and can't help but think MerDer fans now share the same feelings we had when our favorite couple was dismantled. I believe a lot of Burktina fans have already stopped watching the show so we won't hear their reaction to the petition. Here's an article about GA season 4 in genenal which has nice comments about IW and SO. IW was a "weighty presence on an often frothy show, and losing an original character was a blow. Yay! Gloria, you finally came online. I missed chatting with you guys, but i guess everyone is a little busy this days. Yeah i have alot to talk about on christina too. Have you read the new spoiler yet? that after the strike christina will have two major roles to play: 1-romance with Joshua 2- helping meredith get over derek. Hey girls! wow the forums are so quiet! I hope everyone is doing good! I know everything has sort of died down this season especially on this forum cause Burke is gone and its sad I totally miss the old days where like everyone was on and we were all like omg did that really just happen with burke and Cristina!!! lol oh well I really wish the show would get back to the way it was during season 2 cause it was so much fun and cute I just loved it! So Sandra Oh is at the Sundance film festival! good for her she would be an awsome juror as they are calling her cause shes all about the independent films and stuff! Yes it has been very quiet on this forum is this not a sign that we lost our interest in this show that even our friendship is suffering from it? Nothing much over here we suffer from the writers strike as well re-runs re-runs re-runs. Can't imagine how those people are surviving. On the daily life.... prices are going up like mad 2.2 USD for 1 liter (O.264 gallon)of fuel and it impacts on the groceries. Just want to say hi to everyone! Wishing you all a great day. Also to share with you this great news. One of the More than Coffee members who has gotten actively involved with Isaiah's Gondobay Manga Foundation has finally MET THE MAN last week. Here are highlights of that meeting! He asked me a few personal questions~how long I'd been married, what was my sign rolleyes.gif He thought I only had one son. I told him I had 3 children, two boys and a girl, he said "Ah! Like me!" he said "so you know what is like Maria...the LOVE". He also wanted to know my path to TFMF..we discussed MTC, and the wonderful job Vella and Electra had done raising money for the Foundation to honor his birthday. I told him they deserved all the credit for raising awareness of TGMF on MTC. He was very amused with FIL...but she already knows that. Sonya wanted to know what Bang meant and he said "Burke and Yang" laugh.gif He was so happy to learn about all the members from Europe, Asia and the States. He was like "really??". At this time I made sure he knew he is loved, admired and respected by all of us. I let him know how proud I am of his work in SL and how inspired I was by someone like him. I told him I didn't see a lot of celebrities like him. Writing a check is not enough. I asked him if he hated anyone and he said I don't. I said, that's ok, Isaiah, your fans will hate them for you. One thing I noticed about him was how attentive he was. He is not one of these celebrities who asks you a question just to be polite but doesn't look you in the eye. He wasn't looking around to see who he might see, he was really engaged and paying attention. I love his relationship with both Sonya and Max. They are like siblings.Posted 1/25/2008 1:00:00 AM #
