Also, I have NO idea what they are going to do with Cristina, even though I would have NO problems figuring out where to take her if I were writing and the direction would not have a thing to do with a love interest. I just cannot see this character falling in love with anyone else as she did with Burke, she was willing to sacrafice enough to give into something she really did not believe in or think was necessary to share her life with him. Sorry, but that is SO never going to happen with anyone else, and I won't buy it if they try to sell it. That was Cristina's one great love and she lost it, so once again, either bring in her other family members and have her work out issues in her past or give her a baby who will actually end up being the number one "love of her life" in a different way. Like just when she thought she would only be married to her job here comes along a little person to remind her that what she just went through, a year of her life accoring to Shonda's time frame, it will remain 2 1/2 to 3 years in my time frame which by the way is the real life time frame of how long we've been following these characters- but this child will validate that she did not just waste a year of her life, that there was real "love". Cause right now, especially after Burke's mother's visit I can't believe that Cristina, will ever believe that Burke did love her. I mean she's a little scammer, that's who she was in her past so I mean she must be bolded over thinking that Burke is the greatest scammer she's come across since well, herself. She must be thinking how the hell did he do it, I mean she cannot be thinking that he ever loved her. His mother and her words is her last memory of Burke and what happened between them and his mother came off colder than folks seem to think Cristina is, to me, Cristina has NEVER been cold hearted. I mean she will never have closure, I believe that is the word Shonda used but the bitch clearly thinks she can just say a character will never have closure and that's it, story over, end of their suffering or her focusing on it, someone who's never been in love, gets left, has no closure and I am to find her tending to the likes of Lexie entertaining or even remmotely half-way decent writing? Yeah, OK,sell it somewhere else. I have no interest in seeing Cristina take care of anyone else except a baby of her own, herself and when I say herself I don't mean just her career either, her mother as they try to work out their issues, BUT not Meredith Grey's sister nor Meredith at the moment, because it DID NOT wash with me having Meredith tell Derek that she WANTS to take care of Cristina but you don't take care of Cristina, BULLSHIT Shonda. It did not wash with me that they had Cristina telling Meredith that she did NOT want to be taken care of, sorry, yes she does not want to be coddled but to me that dialogue was ALL put in place so that Shonda and ABC could wash their hands of Cristina's devastation of Burke leaving her, because THOSE asses are the ones who cannot separate the character of Burke from the actor. So they want to wash all signs of him an how monumental he was in Cristina's life. Sorry, not going to fly. If I hear Cristina tell Derek again that she is taking care of Meredith instead of someone continuing to talk about Cristina and trying to take care of her or how SHE does NOT seem to be reacting to Burke leaving her I am going to f-ing hurl.Posted 12/21/2007 1:00:00 AM #

hello everybody! I haven't been on since before Thanksgiving, I think. I hope everyone is having a good holiday season!! Basically, I've taken a break from Grey's. It just isn't that great. I am up to date, but I just don't see it coming back strong. As bad as that sounds, I know that deep down, most of us feel that way. It seems the forum isn't all too busy... hello to all the new people on here, I'm Dinofigg and I am a freshie in college. hi everyone! sorry i've been very busy. Grey's these days are sort of here today gone tomorrow. i watch when i can but its not my priority nor is it something i wait for. but other than that i like to read around and see how Cristina is coping. as for now, you all have a very merry merry christmas and a happy new year, a safe and fair caucus, and of course a happy viewing again of the new episode soon. Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year to all you crazy fans and especially to you guys I chat with sometimes, Rose,Pink Mist, McDreamy02, Irish, Gloria,Bayfront, Belgian Grey, BF,Psychrambel, hafsa. I'm sensing we are going to turn the corner,soonish, in 2008 with our Mer Der relationship getting over the final hump in the long winding road to true happiness. I've got some ideas about the music I would use but not the exact dialogue. If the strike continues we could all collectively contribute and write an international episode on-line, including music. Episodes Future could substitute for the time we tend to spend reflecting on-line about Episodes Past.
