Well Gloria to us mer is not stupid but Shonda is potraying her to be. Do you remember when she slept with George to get over derek? i just hope that is not what is going to happen when derek hooks up with the Lauren lady. Ellen pompeo may not be happy with the storyline/writing but i dont think she can make shonda change a thing. So you think it will be over between der and the lauren girl in just three epis? i dont think so. This is grey's we are talking about. Remember der and addi? it went on for ages. You know what is even more painful? when der choose to be with addi, he did it out of duty but this is diffirent he is going on a date on his own ffree will. The spoiler also said something about Rose making derek's character somewhat conflicting, which means he might start to like her alot and start to question his feelings for mer. So, i was thinking of giving the show a rest for 6 or 7 epis after next week (which will kill the little spirit i have by the way).Posted 11/3/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Hafsa, Iam so with you on this one. I think we ALL need a break/Change. For at least 3-4 episo. Your right about the show killing our spirits. What is the matter with the Creator of this show? I keep asking myself this question over and over again. You know what I really don't understand? When I see/hear other people on other threads talk about how great the show is this season. And that the show is better than it's ever been. I start wondering what the heck are they drinking/smoking? Are we all not watching the same show? Hafsa, Have you watched Men In Trees? Great Show. Romance, Love and sweet tender moments between the adults of the show. Plus the Scenery is absolutely beautiful. It will take your mind off of Greys. The last thing I need is Der feeling some sort of way about Mer. Even though it took him this long to figure out Mer. I really thought after that I want to marry you speech HE WOULD TRULY WAIT. But then this is Shonda's mess we are talking about. Shonda does not care what we think. And, No It will take about 6 epis. before Shonda gets rid of her.By then 5 million of us will probably drop off a cliff from frustration. This whole thread may shut down.Think about it. Here comes the george/Izzie show along with Der and some other woman,No Alex/Ava,hardly any Bailey and Mer circling the bars again. And what about Cristina, oh that's right. Shonda does not care about Cristina oh well. What a SHOW. Can't wait NOT to SEE this mess. No one can stop her from messing up the show. Gloria--that is exactly why I was so devastated, after Derek's I want to marry you but what happens if...speech. Because I already knew about Lauren Stamille. I realized immediately that they were torturing us with the words we'd all been dying to hear, when they already had another woman waiting in the wings. It was so cruel and I felt utterly devastated. I realized something about GA after that. I noticed the contrast when I watched Men in Trees--which has loads of hot guys and heaps of romance, and yet you feel satisfied and HAPPY after every episode. I thought about how I never feel happy or satisfied after Grey's anymore. Not since the end of season 2. The few fans who post on the episode thread here, have taken the attitude that they are going to be faithful to the show no matter what. They believe MerDer will triumph in the end, even if they have to wait the whole 7 years to see it. I can only shake my head when I read that. This is TV people! suffering for years to get some reward? Life is too precious to spend it on painful television! As I said, I realized something after Derek's speech, which broke my heart with the "what if". I realized the woman behind this show is not one of us. At least she is not from the world I live in. Shonda's idea of love is not remotely like mine. My idea of love is Belgian Grey who lovingly helps her mother and friend with the dying husband. And Gloria who looks out for everyone else. And IAAG, a young woman who has already learned tough life lessons about true love and caring. Shonda could bring some genuine, lasting love into this show and she doesn't. Or what she has, she "burnt to the ground". More and more I see people hurting each other and often being mean to each other on her show. It has degenerated into a guessing game of, what two characters are hooking up in tonight's episode. So I have stepped back. I have other tv I enjoy now, and I don't need alot of tv in the first place. If I watch I watch, if I don't I don't. I love Derek, he is my knight in shining armour. But I'm not going to let it kill me anymore, waiting to see him and Meredith ride away into a sunset that may never be there.Posted 11/3/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Gloria I have not seen any announcement for Men n Trees but I will watch it. We have almost all the US shows even Ugly Betty problem is that I refuse to watch a show that is not in the original version!! I just hate it when I watch my DVD's I set up the subtitles in English so I keep on practicing the language. What are you pronostics will S4 be the last one? Grey, I love NCIS and criminal minds. Don't like CSI/MIAMI. Love Csi/original and CSI/NY. NCIS comes on tuesday nite here. I think this will be the last season for Greys. There are Too many people complaining about it. Mags,critics,reporters and the fans. That's alot of unsatisfied people. A lot of people have found other shows more rewarding to watch. IT's like Rose said. You should not feel like you have been in a 15 car pileup on the expressway when you finish watching a show. You should feel good or at least satisfied. Today I feel just drained from even thinking about Greys. This is crazy. I'm a grown woman. And to have a TV SHOW get to me is just ridiculous. I should know better. I will see the next episo.But, I'm going to give it a rest for 3-4 epis. I'll come here to see what you all have written. You should go to SandraOh.com to read what people are saying about greys. hi all, gloria, i will send the e-mail again after this post. by the way, just out of curiosity, what time is lunchtime on set, over here lunch in usually 1 - 2, is it earlier in the states? i watched the latest episode and i enjoyed it. i think dr hahn is very witty and i think i am going to like her character. i loved the way she teased der and mark and her speech to the chief was excellent about the boys club. i just want to give izzie a kick in the arse. will she just get over herself. i cant stand the drama, the hysterics, the crying, the whining. if george and izzie are that hot for each other i dont believe for 1 minute that tiredness would have got in the way of sex!!! i just want to fast forward all her scenes!!! mer is definitely trying to make an effort and deal with her issues. not sure how helpful cristina is as she is quite emotionally stunted also. mer/der scene - mmmm, dont know what to say really, enjoyed it but there is no follow through, we are kind of just left hanging no idea which way it is going. i can see viewer numbers falling off big time if derek has a new love interest. i think viewers have just about had enough now and are burnt out over mer/der and wont come back to the show this time. no explanation over ava's disappearance, i like her. i wonder will alex go looking for her this time or if she will return, please dont beg him again! i hope that lexie is not going to fall for him. we also have men in trees. i have seen it a few times as it came on just before grey's and now it is in the grey's time slot. we are midway through season 1. it is a lovely show, nice storylines, beautiful scenery. i love ugly betty and brothers and sisters also.Posted 11/4/2007 1:00:00 AM #
