Hafsa; You asked what is Mer going to do while Der is out dating? I heard Finn was coming back Don't know when. I love Chris O'donnell/Finn. But, I really NEED DER/MER TOGETHER.!!! CAN A GIRL GET A BREAK AROUND HERE??? I do have a question; Next week when the chief walks in on Der in the trailer Der is in bed with a woman. See, I assumed it was Mer. Now I'm not So sure.They were both naked and she was on top of Der. I so hope that is Mer next week. Okay, I'm really going now. I'm just at my wits end right bout now. Gloria--I already knew about all this stuff. Its not Finn who is coming back but Thatcher. Either next week or the week after. And Meredith is the one in Derek's bed in his trailer, when Chief walks in. I slow-mo'd it after the show and its clearly Mer. I have given up trying to understand what Shonda is doing with MerDer. Next week's episode, Derek wants more from Meredith than sex. That is to lead up to the following week, showing that Meredith is making him so miserable that he goes on a date with "Rose". Hello everyone, Hope you all are doing great. I am sorry to see my grey friends so disappointed with the show.I can tell from your posts that the show is becoming too depressing.I agree with what Rose said.If the plan is to make everyone miserable and sad all the time, then it is not worth being addicted to. We all know that life is not a bed of roses but there needs to a balance.Making everyone so unhappy and miserable all the time is unrealistic and not fun to watch.What they are doing to Merder is crazy.Why are they making it so difficult for these two to be together?I find it unrealistic and contrived. Since they love each other so much,why not let her work on her issues with his help.It will be bring them closer and is more interesting than breaking them up yet again.I am surprised they are bringing a new love interest for Derek.They had a triangle in season 2 so what is the point of having another one now? I hope they do not pair Hahn with Cristina.In the interview posted by Gloria,the actress said that she and Sandra were pushing for it,not that it is the plan, so it might not happen.If she said that she dates men and Mark has a crush on her, they might pair her with him instead. Rose,I am so happy you like House.I love that show.The writing is so much better than GA's.Although there is no romance, they bring up interesting ethical dilemmas.Plus the characters are consistent and make sense. You have to watch the second season.It was a great one.The third season was a bit dark but I liked it. Hugh Laurie is the best actor on TV right now.With Grey being such a let-down,it is good to have another show to enjoy.In the end,that is why we watch TV,right? Gloria... did you say Finn? seriously? why? mer was never in love with the guy, she just liked him and not even that much to go to bed with him, which says much becos this is mer we are talking about. I wonder what thatcher wants from mer? God is shonda on a mission to destroy this character or what. Gloria please correct me if i am wrong, was that other leading actress on the article you posted talking about mer? so she is "going to get screwed by someone she is letting in"? who? surely it cant be mark,he wont do that to derek for the second time, not when they are starting to rebuild their friendship again. I am begining to think this Shonda lady is crazy with a capital C. um.. i am kind of nervous right now... do you think der will dare to be more than just friends with that lauren girl? becos i will HATE him with a capital H. Hafsa, My first reaction to that article was, it had to be Izzie. But then they say LEADING ACTRESS. Well we all know that's NOT IZZIE. THE only one left is Mer.and I never thought of Sandra Oh She has TOO MUCH CLASS for a hissy fit. That's not her style. Who else could it be. You may be right. It may be Mer. Dempsey is sick and tired of the way the writing is going. Ellen probably is too. She may be letting Shonda/Co know she is not happy with this mess. The article said a leading actress staring on a very popular series that has a habit of recycling it's old story lines. Her character is letting someone in,and yet again,she's going to get screwed for it.Even worse,the leading lady is keenly aware that the retread is likely to result in her fictional counterpart yet again being slammed by fans for her stupidity.(Mer is not stupid.) This sounds like Izzie to me.(except for the leading lady) I wish they just told us who it is. This new direction Greys is going in, it's not working for me. There is NO continuity in the writing of each actors character. It's like there is NO PLAN, NO DIRECTION NO anything.It's like each week a script is written with NO REGARDS to what happened the previous week. Ex; Alex The only thing that was said about Ava this week was, when Alex told Lexie he was hung up on someone. What the heck was that for? Now I understand Roses melt down last month. Hafsa, I can't even think or speak about Thatcher right now. I was thru with him when he slapped Mer. I feel the same way about the insult. Last year when this was mentioned about a gay love affair for Cristina. I was furious. I think for Shonda anything she can do to bust up the love for Burke/IW by his fans she will do. She has tunnel vision. She sees the light at the end of the tunnel. What she doesn't see is the train coming.(The train being Burke/Cristina fans.) Why would you wait until the 4th season to spring this Gay angle on the fans? Okay, I'll admit No one has officially said they are going this route. But, I don't trust Shonda. And I am thinking of giving Greys a rest for about 3 episodes. I'll watch next week.
