Hey girls! So I'm just doing a quick post its our thanksgiving here and I was just browsing on the internet for a minute, and I went on spoilerfix to see if I could find out when Kevin McKidd was coming back and hes coming back on October 23rd, the 5th episode of the season and I am guessing hes going to be staying for a while after that hopefully! :D lol

i just saw the idina menzel interview on the tv. she is a lovely girl and a fantastic personality. she was very funny. she is giving up broadway to pursue her singing career. she has just released a new cd and she sang a song from it. she has a fine voice. if you would like to see the interview i will try to find out if there is a link to the show.
she said her husband is a famous actor and it showed a picture of him but didn't say who he was but i thought he looked like a guy out of private practice.

Sorry, Haven't been on, been busy and had a few days not feeling well.
I see everyone is looking for McKidd. I too will be glad when he returns. Him and Cristina are dynamite together. I've read everyone's post about the show last week.
So here goes my take on it. First, let me say I loved the show. I can't remember the last time Grey's was this funny or serious. They are really showing a mature side of all the characters. The show totally hilarious,even the serious situations. I could not stop laughing at...
Der measuring the space in Izzie's room. His reaction to her being upset was funny.
George trying to take his test in the middle of all the emergencey situations, was hilarious. Cristina stealing Izzie's apt. was priceless!!! ( again CRISTINA YANG RULES) I could not stop laughing. Cristina honestly thought Izzie was showing the apt for Cristina to have. (That is so Cristina)
Loved the scene where everyone was together eating and playing around. Alex was killing me hitting Mer, Cristina and George.
Cristina was a riot with her my 3, his 8 ratio for pain.
When Mer said to Cristina "You can't stand my boyfriend for 2 seconds" Cristina's response of " there is pain, then there is torture" (I was on the floor.)
Cristina and the psyh. was hesterical. When the Psyh. said to her"how hard it must be for you to loose Mer to Der". Her response was true Cristina style!!!. I just could not stop laughing. And when Cristina said "Oh, you must be a terrible psyh and left.
Cristina was in rare form thurs nite. Loved all of antics.
I love Bailey. It was killing me the way the chief was acting. If the chief is not careful he will be back into his old ways of handling everything(at the hosp.) and may loose Adele. I know the chief wants everyone to be more responsible. His speech to the attendings was long aver due.
For a long time everyone was busy with their personal relationships, and the medical learning/teaching got pushed to the side.
I really love seeing Mer/Cristina in the OR.
Gotta love Mark I think he is trying to be a mentor/friend to Lexie.
So, happy to Joe's is back.
Mer/Der what can I say!!! LOVE,LOVE their relationship.I like the fact that Mer spoke up to Der, and realized the world did not come to an end after all.
I feel these past 2 episo. have shown just how fragile Mer really is. Cristina's emotional pain is just as devastateing, it's how she processes it that is different.
I love how Der is going through the house and settings up the rooms the way he wants them for him and Mer. I think it is SOOoo SWEET!!! This is a happy man. He is so happy to be back home with Mer. You can see it in his face.
Alex is still in love with Izzie. Sure hope they tell his story THIS season.
All n All I loved the show. And I'm still happy and hopeful.
So, I do want to add that....
It's a shame Der doesn't really see Mer's pain. Only Cristina knows. I'm hoping that this week when Der finds Ellis's diary he and Mer will talk in depth. I'm also hoping he gets a chance to read it before he lets know Mer know he found it.
I'm also wondering did Ellis put in the diary that Richard is really Mer's father.
Then, it can go to Der having a conversation with Richard.
Also, is it me or what? Der doesn't know that Mer is in therapy?????????
I think this week would be a great time to tell him. And the story line should show that Der suggest to Mer they both go to therapy.This would be the opening for her to tell him. It's just a thought)

Okay, So Mellissa George from the show Alias is coming to Greys in the near future. She has signed her contract. I liked her in Alias. Her character will be a bisexual intern. Just so long as she DOES NOT GET MORE SCREEN TIME THAN CRISTINA,MER/DER, I don't care.

I think Cristina is angry with Der because of the way he handled his relationship with his wife and failed to tell Mer he was married in the first place.
Keeping in mind Cristina and Mer both had issues when they entered SGH. They both would go to( what they called )their dark place when things got stressful. They just handled the stress differently. Mer would withdraw into herself and just everything is fine. Cristina would act like nothing was wrong and dive into surgery after surgery. They both have abandonment issues. Cristina's father dieing right there in front of her. So, she trys to keep people at a distance, except Mer. They both understand each others pain. I just wished Shonda had taken my suggestion last year for them to have an old fashion talk about their lives, expectations etc. Only now, do I see Cristina finally seeing just how deep Mer's pain really is. The look on Cristina's face last week when Mer told her how much she needs Cristina's opinion. They truly each other's person.
And I hope Shonda is really going to explore their relationship this season. This season should be the time for Mer/Cristina to really see each other's pain and understand they are truly sisters together in all this. That they can achieve anything they put their minds too. That they are NOT THEIR MOTHERS!!!!
In my mind it has to go this way in order for season 6-7 to evole around Cristina/Mer/Der's everlasting friendship. Which leads into Marriage, babies and home for Mer/Der and a long standing love relationship for Cristina and McHottie!!
Well, this is how I have it in my mind, but again, I'm not writing this.
But, knowing Shonda as we all do. She has a disaster brewing in season 6. It's around Mer/Der. We all may not be here in season 6 if Shonda go's off track. She sure is hell bent on this Gay angle. I just don't want it in the way of Cristina,Mer/Der.
