Reply to PostGloria--Shonda herself wrote the finale. And in her writer's blog on the ABC site, she even mentions the lucid Ellis episode! I can't remember exactly what she says, but she is clearly twisting things around to make her finale therapy-solution sound legit. You are right, she does not give us credit for knowing when she is giving us a crock. Love your analogy about Shonda with her bone!

Gloria-like i said before, you are so boldly honest its refreshing, again you are dead right on Shonda.....lets wait and see how it goes........i am still hoping wonders will happen after the season finale. The casts are back for work tommorrow right? ..... how is your campaign going?

irish-yeah bigbrother this year is sure going to be as interesting as ever.....though i am so busy this days i hardly follow as religiouslyas last two seasons...... with Shilpa, Jamine, Jade etc, have you watched the previous one with the twins, brian and charlie? lol! that was one of the most craziest i have ever watched........anyway talk later.

Hafsa..I sure hope your wish comes true for Men in Trees. I sure miss the show. ABC was stupid to drop it.. Shonda has ABC out there swinging in the breezes financial with PP and Greys, I don't think they can think straight. Some one at ABC has to watch what she is doing on Greys. Right about now ABC has both eyes on the ratings, Fans happiness/discontent, and the advertising $$. There is just no room for and mess ups. And then you have Crazy KH with her malcontent. They started the read thru last week and she was not there ( still on vacation) They started filming yesterday, wonder how that worked out??? That set has to be a mess. It has to be awkward. I swear, I don't know how Sandra O puts up with the unprofessional attitudes of some of the cast members. This mess has been going on since 2006.
I sure would like to know who the person was that fed the rumors about IW/TR to the press. I want to know if they were fired also. I bet they weren't. I bet they are still there working. I firmly believe they should be outed. Why should they be shieded from the mess they created. But as sure as I know my name there name will come out sooner or later. What's that saying "you can run but you can't hide".
Is that a rumor/spoiler re: someone going to be pregnant in season 5?? Just so long as it's not Mer/Der. Maybe it will be Izzy and this would be a great time to dump her. She can leave to go have her baby, since she gave up the first one.
Actually all she is good for right about now is keeping Mer's house clean and doing the cooking.
I sure miss Joe's, I wish they would get back to hanging out there, at least once or twice a month. I miss tyler and cristina and there hilarious encounters.
The campaign....For me things have slowed down a little. We have fund raisers and donate $$ on a regular basis.

hi girls,
how are you all. we are good here. children well, all on their school holidays now until september. i have lots of things lined up for the month of july to keep them off the streets. some good, some not so good .... like painting the outside of the house!!!! i sure as hell am not going up any ladder. after the 2nd step i start to get nervous!!! if they want bed and board they will have to co-operate!!!
just looking at the picture of bailey on home page, she is so pretty. her scrubs dont do her justice.
first episode of private practice started last tuesday. i enjoyed it. every tuesday we have private practice at 9.00 followed by grey's. so a good nights viewing. private practice is being promoted heavily.
i really hope that some other network picks up men in trees. i would gladly sign a petition. maybe there is one on the MIT home page. i hope jack and marin stayed together. i love the way they all communicate with each other. it is just all so lovely. if only life was like that. ok, im such a saddo, i love 7th heaven aswell. you are seeing my true colours now!!!its on every sunday at 4.30 and religiously each sunday i do my weeks ironing when it is on. we are on the final season. i will miss it when it is over. ok, i confess, i have fancied the father, reverend camden, for years!!! i think i have a thing for the men who devote their lives to religion!!! i like the reverend in 7th heaven, the pastor in men in trees, and one of my biggest crushes of all time was in falcon crest (i think) ken olin, who is now in brothers and sisters, played a priest. he was so hot, that was such a long time ago!!!
i think if there is a pregnancy it will be callie. something else to throw into the love triangle. that way if the audience is against the callie / erica storyline then they can turn the storyline around to callie / mark / baby. that way shonda's ass is covered. and of course she will say that is what she had planned all along!!!!!
rose, what you said about patrick dempsey interview on home page. my gut reaction has always been that he was a lot more at fault in the whole isiah washington / tr knight than was leaked for whatever reason. maybe it was big mouth katherine heigl who was the source. it wouldn't surprise me at all.
hafsa, i havent watched big brother for the last few years. it was just so disgusting. some of the housemates were just vile. however, this year i'd say i'm watching it most nights. i hope sylvia is evicted tonight. she is a real snake in the grass. delighted that alex got removed. what a horrible person she is. she needs to be interviewed by the police then a very long time in therapy.

Thank you, Thank you for what you said about PD, Because I have always said there was more to it with Dempsey, then they let on. I was so pissed with him for NOT MANING UP and telling the truth out right. I have always questioned his ethics and character after that mess went down. I'm still questioning his character and I truly see him in a different light since the IW mess. And, what I see is not favorable.
You and the kids be careful on those ladders. Please, no summer accidents.
I was thinking it would probably be Callie also. It's too early for Mer/Der to have a baby. That's for season 6-7. The marriage, babies and house would seal the deal for the ending of the show. You know now that I think about it, maybe Mer getting pregnant 5th season finale. Than by the time they get to season 7 Mer/Der would have 2 kids and another on the way.
Which leads me into my script I wrote in season 3 about them in their home getting ready for a christmas party and you see thru the large window Der decorating the tree while 2 of the children play near by and Mer comes into the room carrying a tray with snacks for everyone, and you see her looking about six months pregnant. Okay, I have gone as far as naming the first 2 kids. Oldest is a girl Cristina Ellis Shepard who by the way is a know it all, straight A student absorbs info like a sponge( Sound like anyone we know)
the middle child would be named after one of Der's sisters. I'm thinking Nancy since she was the only one we have met. And of course the baby Mer would be carrying is going to be a BOY!!! Derek Christopher Shepard II.
See I'm going with the angle that the 2 girls are going to give the youngest a hard way to go and since Der had this love/hate relationship with his sisters he would be able to guide him when needed
Or
The first born could be a girl as I said with the same name, but the second child would be a boy. name Derek Christopher Shepard II. and the third child would be a boy and they name him Mark _______Shepard. How sweet would that be.
I can see the children now. The oldest temperment just like Cristina, and I can hear Mer saying to her now "Cristina!!! and the middle child complaining to Der about how Cristina won't let him do something. and him calling" Dad come and get Cristina!!!" Oh my that household would be sweet, happy and hilarious.
Okay, I need to get a life. I've been thinking about this all week. Watching episo. from season 2 and some from 3/4. I can't wait till Sept 25th for season 5 to start.

I was wondering how all the students are. Have you spoken to Dino,Liliana,or cpk84 ,LAAKAT or even itsallaboutgrey.???? Hope all is well with them. Has anyone graduated yet?? When you see them or talk with them tell them I said hello. Do any of them watch the show at all??

Irish--HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Your posts are more entertaining than watching tv these days! about signing a petition for MIT: I have been active on the ABC MIT message board for months now. Since last January the fans have waged a massive Save MIT campaign via email, snail mail, phone calls, voting online, posting daily opinions on Hey Neilson site (we had MIT up to number 3 at one point). Begging every other network to pick up the show including HBO. (Lifetime turned it down). The most important thing we did was buy 7,000 food trees from the Trees for Life program, which plants food trees in third world countries. A certificate for every food tree purchase was made out to Stephen McPherson, CEO of ABC, petitioning to save MIT.
We had people on the board who are in the industry, and organized a huge public relations campaign to let the media know about our fan efforts. The critics and media were as unhappy about the cancellation as the fans, and some critics even bought food trees. All the certificates from the food trees were hand delivered to McPherson.
The results? ABC did not say one, single word of acknowledgment. Zero, zip, nada. And has not to this day.

Gloria--I know you weren't trying to be funny but I couldn't help smiling. Your description of MeDer's marital/family bliss sounds very much like Its a Wonderful (Grey's) Life. I can really see Shonda passing out the hankies so we can dab away tears of joy--NOT! I'm sorry to burst your bubble hon, because your scenario with Mer & Der's kids is so sweet. NOTHING I would love to see more. But I highly doubt they will get more than one baby by series end, and knowing Shonda, the focus will be on the pregnancy and we will see as little of the child as we do of little Tuck.
About BF--from what she's told me I don't think she has ever heard from any of the other students. she was keeping in touch with Liliana but I thinks that was awhile ago too.
