      Did you all hear about the rumor that Mer/Der will get engaged tonite?? Okay I'm really confused now. Didn't Der walk off with Rose last week. And didn't he tell her he didnot want complicated, that they should just have fun. So, how exactly are  he and Mer going to get engaged tonite?? He hasn't broken up with Rose yet???

      All this stuff that is suppose to happen, I don't see it happening in 2 hrs, with commercials , a trauma, Alex/Ava story , Bailey and her family issues and Cristina and the pager issues with Izzy  , Callie Mark and Hahn issues etc, etc,. I give up.

      Rose you are so right. I'm going to calm down. Every time I think about season 3 finale I could just cry. It took me a long time to adjust to that situation.

      My first impression of Rose when she appeared was that she would evently become a stalker of Der and Mer. It still is not to late. especially if Der/Mer become engaged tonite and he has not broken up with Rose. I really could see that happening. And totally could see it if Rose turns out to be pregant. Wouldn't that be a kick in the head?? That situation would make for great dialogue/storyline.

      I also heard Mer asks Der to marry. Don't know how true that is. Maybe that scene where they are sharing the bottle of champagne that Mer is holding??

      I'm going to make  a cup of tea and relax the best I can.

      rose, i could not agree more with you!!!

      last years finale was a disaster, and yes, i also believe that shonda's turnaround is all about ratings, money etc.  i never felt so disturbed as i felt after last year's finale by any other tv show in my life.  in fact many real life events have not affected me in that way!!! (i dont know what that says about me!!!)

      yes, i also agree about the casual sex etc. all of the interns have slept around, with inappropriate people etc.  whatever about making a mistake once and learning from it, but they just dont seem to learn.  what ever happened to morals??? 

      whats happening to me, am i old fashioned, am i a prude, is it ok to sleep around???  shut up irish, live and let live!!!

      yes, read all the rumours!!!

      it sure is going to be one hell of a show if they fit in all the rumoured spoilers!!!

      im hoping the mer/der moment is going to make me swoon!  i want to be able to replay it and replay it and replay it and never get sick of it.  i want to have butterflies in my stomach, and my stomach to do somersaults!!!  am i making myself clear enough shonda???

      Gloria, irish and rose -lol! with all the issue you guys brought up i hope shonda will be able to wrap everything in 2hrs........

      irish- amen to that......i am also hoping that merder moment will make my entire summer.....

      rose-you are so right, i cant figure why sex has to solve everything.....its just wrong....

      Gloria- i think i will join you in drinking that tea........thing is i am dead nervous.......i hope it will be more than we all expected.........i also  just dont want to see Mcstalker's face after today..........i hope shonda gets the message

      tea, what do you mean tea,  maybe its because im irish!!!  tea is not strong enough at all, at all!!! NEED ALCOHOL!!!

      very large glass of chilled chardonnay, or maybe a stiff whiskey!!!  am so excited!!!

      ok im definitely going to bed now.  i know i will be lying in bed wide awake for hours, wishing i was in the states watching greys!!!  i will be up very early in the morning to find out what happened, im sure if i write a note to the childrens various teachers explaining why they are late in the morning, they will understand!!!  ok, i've said it before, i'm a bad mammy!!!

      good night and i really hope its a good finale, and everyone of you really really enjoy it

      Okay this is where I said the other shoe will drop. It can't be Rose if she is leaving tonite???RIGHT, RIGHT!!! This woman is LEAVING TONITE?????

      Mer is NOT sucidial? / I never though she was.?

      Cristina gets back to normal.?

      Hahn ask Callie out on a date, Callie does not know how to respond? It would appear to me that would be a no brainer. That's just me.

      Ava has a tumor? That's believeable to me.

      There are a few others re: George, Lexie.

      Gloria--BREATHE! these are young kids posting on the episode thread. I laughed when I read that post-- probably a 12 year old!

      OK, I read the so-called spoiler which was posted on the GA message board by an anonymous person. Who I also read, often writes these kinds of spoilers based on his/her own speculations. This is NOT Ausiello-level spoiler! Now some of the "spoiler" I agree with because its exactly what I've predicted myself. I see Meredith as proposing to Derek, out there at Derek's property where he's going to build the house. I also predict it will not happen till the final few minutes--I don't expect an excess of happy MerDer time tonight. Gloria, Derek told Rose he did not want complicated WITH HER. He only ever wanted it with MEREDITH. I don't believe Rose is going to be pregnant, I'm sure she will leave the show one way or another after tonight.

      You could also see from the past few epsiodes that Ava is being sent the way of the funny farm. Sad, but they made such a mess of that poor girl's storyline I will just be relieved to see an end to it. Looks like they are going to pair Izzie & Alex up, probably to give some closure to the whole Gizzie thing. Don't hate me but I always loved Alex & Izzie together.

      I don't expect to see a tidy ending to anything EXCEPT the MerDer reunion folks! I think Callie will be left hanging in some kind of mess, and who knows what with Chief & Adele. That "spoiler" predicted Baily would be found pregnant and with Chief's baby? how funny is that--hilarious!!!

      Ok Gloria and Hafsa, just try to relax and enjoy the show! Having your tea or Irish and her whiskey is a big improvement from the last finale, when we were all on prozac, lol! luv ya--rose

      PS BF will be back after this weekend thank goodness!

      OMG, OMG, OMG Wasn't this show just FABULOUS !!!!!!  LOVED, LOVED Mer/Der at the end. The idea of the lights mapping out the house. And when Der said where is our bedroom, and he asked her about their kids roomsu well I just lost it.

      OMG, OMG Dr Christina Yang ROCKS!!! I loved her in the O.R. When she yelled at hahn and When the chief told Hahn if you want to stay here at my hospital and teach my residents. Well I was yelling so loud, that my neighbor came over to see if I was okay. When Hahn said to Cristina early on in surgery "Let me check your work," well I just started yelling at the tv. Cristina knows more than Dr Hahn. And I bet hahn thinks so too.  I really don't think Dr Hahn can teach Cristina anything. Cristina was taught by the best in the business.

      I cried during alex's scene in the hospital with Ava, when he was helping her after she cut herself and when he was home with Izzy. My eyes are so red now. Alex has had such a traumatic childhood. I just hurt for him. I have such a headache from screaming.

      I realize George had to deal with his issues, but after the second scene with him and Lexie, he was starting to get on my nerves. I'm just so over his whoa is me stance.

      I'm not interested in Hahn and Callie and whatever is going on with them. It's just not believeable to me. Not after the way Callie was introduced into the storyline.

      Glad they have finally found a place for Izzy to work.

      Okay season 5 Alex,Der and maybe Izzy need therapy also.

      Bailey I just love her so. I sure hope Shonda fixes her family life in season 5.

      When Der was in the room with Rose and he said I have failed her every time. Rose knew then her days were numbered.

      I sure hope we don't have to see Rose in the first epis. of season 5.

      The first episo. of season 5 I'm looking for Mer to have a ring and she and Der a very sexy,romantic loving sexual encounter that last longer than 15 minutes.

      But than that's just me.

      Did everyone check their tv schedule tonite's show will be on tomorrow nite at 8:00pm -10:00pm eastern standard time.

      Very very pleased and satisfied with the season's end. I really felt we fans were being handed happy endings on a silver platter tonight. I never expected so much to be resolved with almost all the characters. I clearly see this finale as an unspoken apology for last season's finale and am more than willing to accept it.

      The personal & professional drama of the characters that we have come to know and love, was outstanding tonight. Especially Cristina who ROCKED the OR, and Alex.

      I don't know how there can be the slightest question of which kiss was THE ONE? seriously?

      I feel very bad about the explicit scene/ sexual dialogue with Mark and Callie, with as many young people who watch this show, Many of them very young.

      I'm sure they threw in that look of Mer's as Derek left just to leave something for the fans to speculate over for the summer. It would be redundant for Rose to be pregnant. No worries about Meredith & Derek. Their reunion will carry me through however many months until season 5....

      hi girls,

      what a great episode.  i really enjoyed it.  good to see positive posts for a change.

      those scenes with alex were so touching.  its a side of him we have never seen before.  the only time i have seen alex being open and honest and vulnerable was in season 2 when he was with izzie, the time where they were going to do a double mastectomy on addison and derek's friend.  when alex told izzie he wouldn't care if she had her's removed, it was her he wanted not her body. 

      so izzie is running the clinic now, does that mean she will be spending less time in surgery?  are izzie and alex going to develop their relationship?

      bailey has seen the light and realised you can't do it all.  hopefully her marriage will stand the test of time.  she is looking really well at the moment.  i like her hair.

      cristina rocked.  the chief really let hahn have it.  i think cristina will be back on track next season.  she has got her groove back.

      mark persuaded callie to go to hahn. they were certainly kissing very openly outside the hospital for all to see!!!   i think he would love to find the right woman and settle down.  maybe his man whore days are over? maybe not!!!

      lexie has the hots for george, no doubt about it.  did you see her reaction when george kissed her.  possible future romance???  glad that george is getting a second chance at his exams.  imagine failing by 1 point.  poor thing.

      rose knows that derek is in love with meredith.  will she accept defeat, hopefully she will let him go.  i hope she is  not hanging around in season 5. that can only spell bad news.

      and finally mer / der, what can i say, a happy ending, hopefully!!!  the scenes with meredith and her therapist are so good.  so good to see mer/der back together.  but, and its a big but .......... Derek left her standing there ....... something is going to happen, i just know it.  has shonda learnt her lesson, she wont torture us again next season, would she???

      i really enjoyed all those kissing scenes at the end.  very well put together.

      the morning after the season 3 finale there were 88 pages of posts on this thread, today only 1 page.  shonda, are you reading this?  you know what the fans want!!!  please listen to us.
