      Hafsa,

      You just said what I've been yelling about for the past year. If he loves Mer so deeply How in the world can he just spin on a dime and go right to another woman? And treat Mer like it's her fault. That's what I don't get. (From the minds/mind of the writers) What's up with that.?

      That's why I possed the above question to the ladies on the Greys site.  I could even understand a little better if he and Mer split and he was on his own for about a full season. Trying to clear his head and adjust. I get that!!!

      Not, we break up this afternoon and Der chasing some strange woman down that night. All that love and committment  to Mer just drained right out of his body that afternoon. Call me crazy,but I really don't want her to take him back. She is strong enough to be on her own and find someone later. Mer does not NEED DER!!!  I swear Der is just like Izzy  now, a pain.  This is why I dislike him.

         But, then I'm not writing this.

      I believe writers write what they know. and I'm convinced that these writers and Shonda don't have a clue as to how a relationship is suppose to work.  It's like I've said before. It appears to me  they  have NEVER experienced HAPPINESS and a LOVING  relationship. This is just SAD!!! 

      I bet Shonda has written a scene where Mer will be groveling  to get back with Der. Now that is going to really piss me off!!!

       

      One other thing do you remember when Ellis Grey was in the hosp. and Der went to see her. And she  layed him out about Mer. Saying He really was not interested in Mer. He just wanted someone to idolize him.  Well I have NEVER forgotten that and I believe Ellis was right on the money. Der is full of crap. And Ellis knew it.

      It just upsets me to see Mer upset. I've always felt that way about her and Cristina.

      I totally agree with you. i think he is suffering from brain damage or something

      i just wanna Mer to be strong. she doesn't need Derek. he doesn't deserve her

      Welcome, happy to see someone else sees what I see in this relationship.

      For a while there I thought It was me. I see peoples  postings re: Mer/Der and they act like his treatment of Mer is normal or okay. And it's not. Especially from where this relationship came. 

      Him brow beating her into being what he wants her to be is NOT NORMAL. I lost respect for him in season 3. And in the beginning of season 4 when he  said to her at the elevator are you in this relationship or not? (with an attitude) I was just floored. I was through  with him after that.( I thought to my self how dare he speak to her like that.)

      I don't blame the actors on where this storyline is going. Shonda/Co get ALL the blame as far as I'm concerned. The writing is such a mess. I'm still waiting for Shonda/Co to finish the other 5-6 storylines they started ( from season 3 )and just dropped. I swear it 's like the writers don't remember what they previously wrote. Leaving us fans wondering what happen with ?????

      Now my focuse is on Mer and Cristina getting better on their own. They both are strong intelligent and smart women who also happen to also be hot and sexy.

      yes, Gloria,

                        Cristina and Mer are definitely smart women both, especially Cristina, strong in mind. But now, they two really look alone, r they too strong to needing some other hot guys to take care of them? I can not help yelling to those writers, do not waste their intelligence(these two characters), damn it!

      Gloria-how are you and the campaign?.........the cunt down begins and so does the anticipation and frustrations......lets hope things will change for the better.

      I am glad you liked it.....like i said, i am loosing my touch on grey's.......something is definately missing....oh well.....

      I cant understand why Shonda is belittling mers dignity......why make her beg.? that i will never understand.......every woman deserves to be treated like a jewel and mer  despite all her faults is no exception.....

      hmm...Gloria did you noticed in one of the pics , der gave rose flowers?........she never did give mer anything.....not even a pen........

      Yea I saw that scene. I was so pissed when I saw it and my response was the same as your. He NEVER GAVE MER FLOWERS .I called him a bunch of names after that. UGg!! Der makes me sick. 

      It's like I've said before I don't think who ever is writing this stuff has a clue about how a relationship should work.  The writing of this show has been for quite sometime to make   woman look weak, unconnected to what's going on around them, needy ( as in I must have a man to be complete) it's just pityful.  I'll say this again Writers write about what they know. If you have NEVER had a loving, secure relationship there is no way in hell you can write about one!!!

      The campaign is going great. Today is the day.   I sure hope my candidate wins big. I know he is going to do quite well. I'll be at the polls around 6:00am to help set up the voting machines. Polls open 7:00am.

      I agree with you. Shonda is just wasting Mer and Cristina's talents. Especially Cristina's. I have been waiting since season 3 for one of the fools on the writing team to write and show case Mer and Cristina's talents in the O.R. Well I'm still waiting.  ( as I guess we all are)

      I talked with a friend of mind in NY today. Some where in the conversation I mention Cristina. She says to me "You still watch that show"?  She and a bunch of our friends dropped Greys when IW left. She says to me "Greys is not long for this world. There are just too many other really great shows to watch now."

      I could not even argue the point.

      I really wish we could have a sit down meeting with the writers and ask some questions. I really would like to know what the heck are they TRYING to do???  Or do they even know???

      Another thought,  I wonder with these next five episo. is there going to be any continuity at all?  (or) is it going to be like season 3 and the beginning of season 4 just jump around from one scenario  to another blindly???

      Actually, I quited from the ending of season 3. I did not watch season 4 since IW has left. But I am still care about this show, I do hope maybe any miracle will happen one day. Becoz, they are really the hottest couple I have ever seen, I do love them two, I do not want to miss any thing between them if there will be.

      Hi everyone,

      Gloria, hope your campaign went well.......just came back from work.....so tired. Oh and Gloria guess what?!.....i got my project result today and i got a B1........i am so happy i wont do any referal work.

      Between, are we to asume derek has no taste? because those flowers are very ugly, are they plastic or something?.........they should close the florist shop he brought that plant from....lol i am crazy.....i know....but i feel much better already.

      Two more days!......

      You killing me. I cannot stop laughing. You are hilarious!!!

      The flowers, I get where you are going about the flowers.  When I first saw the scene I could not figured out if they were just there in the shot or did he really give them to her. Well if he actually paid $$ for them he needs to go back and get his $$. There is NOTHING romantic about those flowers. They look like an arrangement you have just cut out of your garden and put in a vase on a table at home.

      I'm telling you this man is a traveling wreck.

      Between the presidential campaign and Greys I swear I'm going to get an ulcer.

      The atmosphere is just wonderful in the entire state. We registered over 300,000  democratic voters this past few months and they have and still are coming out to vote in hugh numbers today. Every where you go people are just so excited about the primary election.
