For all the seasons, who has had the best cameo role on the show? (McSmarty mentioned in another thread Christina Ricci, which is what got me thinking)

Originally I liked Brooke Smith as a cameo, then she became a cast member. I guess I lucked out.
I don't think I can pin-point one specific cameo role, but I was pleased to see Bernadette Peters in the season 5 premiere. She's wonderful!

I agree about BP in the premiere. Love watching her. She's my front runner for cameos this season.

The whole time Bernadette was on Grey's I kept singing her lines from Into the Woods:
Greens, greens and nothing but greens: Parsley, peppers, cabbages and celery, asparagus and watercress and fiddleferns and lettuce-! He said, "All right," but it wasn't, quite, 'cause I caught him in the autumn in my garden one night! He was robbing me, raping me, rooting through my rutabaga, raiding my arugula and ripping up my rampion (My champion! My favorite!)-I should have laid a spell on him right there, could have changed him into stone 0r a dog or a chair...But I let him have the rampion- I'd lots to spare. In return, however, I said, "Fair is fair: You can let me have the baby that your wife will bear. And we'll call it square."

sorry to ask, but cameo as in??? a patient?? in that case it would be that woman who had found her prince charming but nobody believed her because they thought it was her tumor talking...very sad story, esp when he really came to SGH. other fav patients are 'am I rude?' (s3 i think...dont know for sure) and that man with the boob-thing and who talked like 'peter (i think that was his name) doesnt like nanananana'

Oh, my favorites are; Kyle Chandler as Dylan Young. (Also known as Bomb Squad Guy), Chris O'Donnell as Dr. Finn Dandrige <3 and Seth Green as Nick(The guy with the neck-tumor)

Best cameo ever on Grey's ... season one episode "Who's Zoomin' who?" The redhead at the end saying: "And you must be the woman who's been screwing my husband.
