   now don’t hate me for this one and i can’t even believe i’m suggesting it but, does anyone see the possibility of a meredith/alex hook up? or what about meredith/sloan? i think they are good possibilities especially if derek goes down the forbidden lexi path. i think meredith/alex actually is more likely because remember they live in the same house. i’m not saying it will be something they choose to do, it just might be something that happens one night after a few drinks and a sob session. i guess this came to mind because shonda made such a big deal in her blog about pointing out the fact that mer and alex are mirror images. i don’t know, i guess i’m just trying really hard to move on now that the hopes for a happy der/mer have been burnt to a crisp.

   Hey luvthisshow....i don't even know where it will go next year. I am so confused and upset.... I know I should be positive but it is really hard.

   I don't need a break from Grey's Anatomy, what I need to do is sit down and watch all of season 3 back to back and really dig into it. Its kind of hard when its all spread out. Like I know season 1 and 2 better than I know my own family...lol jk

   I'm staying positive! Derek told Mer she was the love of his life...he would know that becoming involved with Lexi would kill any hope for him and Mer. sheesh, he still hasn't quite forgiven Sloan for sleeping with Addie! To knowingly hurt Mer the way he was hurt isn't something I can see Der doing! I'm not sure about Mer, though...I don't see her turning to either of those two b/c they're just as screwed-up when it comes to relationships. I kinda see her and Alex with more of a sib feel based on season 2 interactions. It might take a little longer than we would like, but I think (really hope!) that MerDer will make it. They just have to.

   I am really, really trying to stay positive about MerDer, but its getting kind of hard. On Shonda's blog, she said that in season 4, they can start over now that everything has been "burnt to the ground" and now that EVERYONES SINGLE!!!! she said that! which means, that meredith and derek are broken up, doesnt it? oh god that would suck! I think that George might become a nurse. he has always had good interactions with them, and he helped them in the strike. Also, maybe Alex will chase Ava and try to get her back. But about Izzie? and Bailey!? she was so sure she was going to get the job!

   i don't know but i hope it gets happy again. i hope good stuff starts happening again, more of the fun love stuff. and less of all the stuff that's been going on latly. and also the writers need to leave merideth alone, with all this bad crap happening, all though i think her sister is there to stir up trouble.

   Has anyone thought about how Callie is supposed to have a baby AND be Chief Res? Maybe she takes maternity leave and Bailey ends up Chief after all?? I think the sister and Mer will become good friends in the end, I think Lexi, being a dr, will understand why her Mum died and won't blame Meredith. Maybe she'll pick up where Susan left off. HOWEVER, from the bar scene with Derek she obvisouly is attracted to him, so I wonder if she will pursue him (unknowing the Mer connection) tho I can't see Derek wanting to be caught. If they really are broken up I think it will take him a long time to get over Mer...but that's not to say he cant get himself some meaningless sex. Didn't Shonda say something about season 4 involving lots and lots of sex??

   pinkmist....u crack me up and you are so right! good for you McPsyched! please keep up the faith -- it's good for all of us who have some trouble with that! well arletto you started out optimistic, but then you made a left turn there at the end lol. let's face it e1, shonda loves to torture us, therefore, i don't put anything past her concerning who's zooming who in that hospital. i still think callie and george will separate, however, it is all up to george--he holds all the cards at this point. first though he has to deal with his failing the exam and i'm not quite sure how he'll handle that. run away? ostricize himself? or put on his big girl panties and repeat his internship?

    i say if callie and george end up breaking up, callie should just leave and go on private practice with addison, i love there friendship. As much as i wouldn't want george and callie to break up, i think it would be fun. But it probably wouldn't happen especially if she gets pregnant.
