I KNOW MEREDITH'S REAL AGE...32!

   I just recently bought a script of the pilot episode of GA and I was fumbling through the script and I found where it says Meredith Grey (32)blah blah blah then it says Derek Shepard (late 30's)blah blah blah. Mer didn't go to Med skool straight out of college. hmmm Meredith's lost years...wonder what she was doing. Once I get home I can type exactly what the script says so I can share with all of you. It's actually pretty facinating to see all the blocking and lil tidbits that aren't in the actual episode. But I thought everyone would like to know exactly how old Mer is!

   Hi Pink Mist Just wondering since you are a bit of a fan of greys if you have ever tried Izzies cup cake recipe, the one with the essence of coconut. It's an unusual recipe(on myspace greys anatomy)? If anyone has tried it could they comment here???

   Mer went to Europe. Remember in the episode "Wishin' and Hopin'" when Ellis Grey becomes lucid? Meredith explains to her mother at the beginning of the episode that she went to Europe and then went to med school. Hope that was helpful.

   How amazing - there is nothing you cannot buy at ebay, isn't it - anyway, we figured something around 30. McDreamy cannot be in his late 30s. As I read somewhere attendings in real life are usually in their late fourties or beginning fifties. Even if he was one of the early graduating kind, to finish college (4 years), medschool (4 years), residency (7 years!) and to become great and recognized in his field of neurosurgery I doubt he is that young. On the other hand Addison must be young enough to have gone throug all of that and still be in a fertile age. Anyway, it would be nice if you could share a little more of that script, would you?

   i think derek is around 40-42....PD's real age. just a guess though.

   INT. Meredith's Living Room- Sunrise A rambling but shabby home. Light filters through curtains. Meet MEREDITH GREY (32) smart, awkward, irreverent, hard-working and...well, naked. She fumbles for her clothes. Derek (o.s) this is.... There is a naked man lying by the fireplace we didn't notice before. DEREK (late 30's), dashing, sexy, charming--the man we all wish existed, is just waking. Meredith dresses quickly, uncomfortable with his presence. MEREDITH This is humiliating on so many levels. -- you have to go. DEREK Come back down here. We'll pick up where we left off... MEREDITH You have to go. I'm late. Which isn't what you want to be on your first day of work so... you have to go. She's tossing his clothes at him. Derek sits up, looking around. The room is oddly disorganized---too much furniture, post-its stuck to drawers, layers of dust over everything.

    I know right..ya know I should have went to camera-man(woman) skool...so then I could be the one who tapes these scenes..I will post more from the script a lil later today!
