did I miss something?

Hey there I've been watching the last 3 episodes of season 3 and all 9 episodes of season 4 and I wonder why so many things where left unexplained... I mean 1) nobody explains that the chief decided not to retire, he just did (after Der told him he was the best) 2) how come we did not know Lexie before, why hasn't she been in the hospital before when her mom died? 3) Burke. Gone. And no one talks about it anymore. 4) Addison left without even saying goodbye. I missed an awkward/ funny/ clumsy goodbye scene between her and the McDreamies an Steamies and mer and alex. Or did I miss an episode ;)Posted 11/26/2007 1:00:00 AM #

1) The chief justs decided after Derek told him like you said. I saw it like it was Derek who was getting the job, but he decided he was not ready, and Mer needed him. So he told the chief that he was not ready to quit his job a chief. 2)Lexie has been away in college studing. Molly(the other sister) talks about her in an episode in season 2 when they are in with the baby the first time. And of course she meets Derek in the bar in the last episode or so in season 3. 3)Mer tries to talk to Yang, but she is not really into to all that talking, and we get a little more info through Mama B. when she returns for Burkes stuff. 4) That one I didn`t get either... But I hope she will return as a guest star... Maybe telling Der to go with Mer.. after all she knows him quite well.. She is the character I miss the most this season..... :(¨ I think they just sometimes tries to leave a bit to imangination.....;)Posted 11/26/2007 1:00:00 AM #

4- Regarding Addison: we were supposed to see Addison's resignation on the first episode of S4 but a last minute change was made and instead her resignation scene with the chief was moved to the first episode of her new show "Private Practice". But I agree, I would have loved to see her part with the interns (now residents) and AttendingsPosted 11/28/2007 1:00:00 AM #
