For the last 2 episodes I have this thought for you. This week pretend you are any of the 5 interns and all of you sit an exam set by one of your GA fanatic friends during the episode.Of course your exam will be more of a GAtrivial pursuit kind of medical test but can have some surgical questions from the 3 seasons. For last episode gate crash the wedding as bridesmaid etc, dress up, get your exam results and one of you can bake a red velvet cake or whatever. There should be Tequila...and Izzie's chocolate cupcakes. You could wear blue shirts and end up with someone new... I liked the idea of the Drinking Game, but I just don't like the taste of alcohol and I just get very tired and sleepy so that is not my cup of tea. you can never go wrong with a costume party. Make sure the lighting is just right...nothing bright! Christmas lights or patio lights work great! Make sure the space where you are having the party isn't too big. The more spread out people are the less interaction there will be.Posted 5/11/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Thank you for the great ideas, everyone! So far, I have decided to keep it pretty low key and express the theme mostly through the food & drink I serve. For instance, I'm going to make something for each intern- red velvet cake (Christina's wedding cake), Izzie's cupcakes, some sort of "bitter" punch or just water (as it has been used tirelessly) for Meredith(?)... not sure about Karev & George. Please let me know if you can think of any desserts or drinks which could represent the characters. Also, I am going to give a mock exam to my guests when they arrive (before the show) and give results at the commercial break after the interns get their scores. I'll give a prize (book/show soundtrack) to whoever has the highest score. As for attire, since I want everyone to be comfortable, I wrote to wear scrubs if they have them in the invitation. This will be a fairly small party of girlfriends, who meet once a month as a part of another organization; so the first hour before Grey's will be "business" related. We usually do something fun at our meetings, which is why I suggested hosting a Grey's finale party. (I'm obsessed, as most of us on these forums are!) Anyway, please keep the ideas coming! And thank you so much for those mentioned so far, especially Ausfan. Idea's for drinking games...everytime someone says seriously..take a drink...or everytime someone cries..take a drink...another we use to play was everytime they mention some medical term we didn't know we took a drink...fun fabulous timesPosted 5/13/2007 1:00:00 AM #
