k im like really sick of meredith's whole "help me" "i love u derek" "i hate u derek" "boo hoo" thing atm. coz if u watch back to season 1 she was all ultra confident nd refused to date derek even tho he kept making the mcdreamy face and generally looking gorgeous. so here's wat i tink shuld happen- christina and meredith will realise that men r the root of all problems in the world (yes i stole that from world without men!!!!) so meredith will not date anyone and christina's lack of s_e_x (i dnt want to share this e-mail with tha postmaster or whoeva checks the e-mails) will result in her being grouchy and funny (aka the christina that we all miss so much) meanwhile derek will still be dating rose.. while he's dating her even tho he thinks she's nice (not) and funny (not) and sweet (not) and smart (not) he realises (finally!!!!) that she's just not meredith and he doesn't have that spark with rose like he did with meredith. so he dumps rose!!!!!!! (cue hallelujiah courus) nd he tells meredith that he dumped rose but meredith is like "umm..thats gud for u..but it doesn't mean i'm just gonna fall at ur feet coz i am a strong independant woman that doesn't need a man" nd derek will be like omg.. this is the meredith that i fell in love with. so... r u ready for the ultra romantic part... on the days leading up to valentine's day he tries to win her back. he buys her flowers and chocolates and meets her in the elevator (personally my favourtite place in grey'sanatomyland!!!). but she's like no- i will not date u, it neva works wen we're together and i don't wanna put myself through that pain again. but then... alex contracts sum awful deadly disease and he's lying in the hospital bed looking all weak and feeble (but still hot!!!) and then izzie realises that she loves him... and she's sitting by his bed... wait a sec scrap that last paragraph... alex gets in a car accident (they haven't had a car accident yet- just lots of deadly diseases) and he's lying in a hospital bed in a coma looking all weak and feeble (but still hot) and then issie realises that she is in love with him, she realises that she only dated george coz he's the opposite of alex.. if that makes any sense???? so he's lying there and all the interns talk to him and tell him that he can't die... then izzie is sitting there crying nd she says to alex "u can't to this to me... don't u dare die.. denny will not happen to me again.. alex karev u are the stubbornest man i no so u use that nd make urself wake up- i will neva forgive u if u die" meanwhile.. meredith realises what would happen to her if derek were the one lying in the hosptial bed and she doesn't know what to do... then in the season finale... derek is sitting outside his caravan looking all miserable when meredith runs towards him crying... and he looks really worried coz he's so sweet and says "meredith? r u ok? is alex..." then meredith is like "derek, i love u, i will always love u- so pick me, choose me... marry me" nd derek's like omg omg omg nd he looks at her, nd she looks at him and meredith does a voiceover *and suddenly it hits you, what you always wanted is right there in front of you* close up on meredith, close up on derek, closeup on izzie at alex's bedside, shot of meredith and derek.. fade out into black ---------------- end of season------------------------Posted 3/20/2008 10:13:35 PM #
