So what does Meredith mean by "I'd go somewhere else if I could"?
If I was Meredith and I saw Derek and Rose together that would piss me off so I guess this is what is needed in order for Meredith to stop her excuses and go after what she wants. I'm still trying to figure out how Shonda plans to do it. Can't wait.
Miss all my GA friends...soon we'll have new episodes to discuss.

Just saw the promo for 4/24. Okay, would someone explain to me WHY OH WHY did Mer say to that jack- - - I would leave if I could. That's Mer's HOME (Seattle) Der is the outsider. He is there pissing all over her territory. If anyone should leave it's HIM!!! That scene pissed me off. Mer should not even be contemplating a move. All she has to do is mention to the Chief that she is unhappy working there with Der. I'm quite sure the Chief would gladly make arrangements for him to go somewhere else. (This would be a good time for Mer to show her MOTHERS SIDE) The Chief is not going to stand around while Mer is unhappy/miserable, while Der flaunts his trashy girlfriend.
Okay, Cristina knocking over dizzy Izzy is just too funny for words.
Glad to see the Chief helping Alex. Now, can the writers do the same for Cristina???
I'm still trying to figure out who Rose is talking too when she says I love him. It appears the person has dark hair. I first thought it was Mark. But, now I think it's a woman. Dark hair..UMm Callie? Why would Rose be talking to Callie?
Maybe Addie, She's coming back with Dark hair, at least in the promo's.
Actually I could see Addie saying something to her about Der/Mer. And it even looks like Rose has an attitude, like who cares.
I'm hoping that what we are seeing in the promo's is really part of the show.

When I paused it to get a closer look, it looked like Rose was talking to Lexie by the flowers. And I bet she's talking about Derek...bummer.
Well at least we know for sure that we only have to stand a few more episodes without Mer and Der together, but for some reason I have a hunch that there is going to be some twist, and the Mer/Der reuniting won't be what we all think it is. Maybe it will though...I guess you never know with Shonda.
Plus..Shonda made us all so mad at the end of third season and beginning of fourth, so maybe she'll make it up to us by like having Der propose or something. HOW SICK WOULD THAT BE!?!

I wonder if Mer's comment to McDreamy (re: going somewhere else if she could) might have something to do with a patient. I read something about them having their first patient in a clinical trial. I've pasted below....
"Piece of My Heart" Addison returns to Seattle Grace to perform an operation and is taken aback by all of the changes in her old co-workers' lives. Meanwhile Meredith and Derek's clinical trial has its first patient, and Rebecca/Ava returns with shocking news for Alex, on "Grey's Anatomy,"
Maybe working together on that project plays a part in their fiiiinally getting their act together. ;) Just six more days....time for Rose to GO!

Thanks for that info. I forgot about Lexie. I swear Der and Rose have me SOoo agitated some days I can't think or see straight. My mind has put Der is the same category as Izzy both are a pain/annoying to me. I just want Mer to realize her potential and see that she really does not NEED Der. I just don't want her groveling to this man to come back to her. I get so angry when she does that.
Rose talking to Lexie HOW LAME IS THAT!!! Somebody give me strength!!!
Well, I have to bottles of red wine in the frid. Sure hope I don't NEED to drink both to get thru this first episo. ( thought I was SOo past this)

Sure hope you are right. That would lead me to step back off the ledge for a moment. I'm trying to be a grown up here. But, today Greys is just working my nerves. I'm really trying not to rise above for any expectation.

Remeber, Der/Mer are going to be together at the end of the season. Enjoy watching the people grow! This show is still incredible.

I'm so glad the show is back this week!!! It's been too long!! I think the "shocking news" that Ava has for Alex in the 2nd episode is that she's pregnant!!! How crazy would that be?? A baby would change Alex completely! Oh and I also read somewhere in the 1st episode that when Derek is doing a surgery, Mer and Rose are in the gallery watching and he looks up and rose thinks he's looking at her but then she turns around to see meredith and realizes he was staring at her instead. It's gonna be good, I can't wait!!

Actually, I do completely understand. I fully expect to have a few yelling-at-the-TV-like-it-can-actually-hear-me moments on Thursday night. But ultimately I'm confident that we will get our happy ending.
Only four more days! Yay!!
