Ok, I've watched this episode twice and I can't find where this patient suddenly is diagnosed with Cancer. Am I blind as a bat or did they edit that info out? First he's about to have surgery than suddenly there is a scene where he says if I become a woman I might die? what's up with that? Ok, I found this quote on the recap on this site: As for the aforementioned Dr. Sloan, he performs sexual reassignment surgery on a man whose wife somehow sticks by him through his emasculation. Moreover, the man is diagnosed with breast cancer, which is caused by the hormones that aid his transformation. this certainly wasn't in the episode. Great line: I"m really going to miss the penis. That was amazing, sweet, funny, touching and promising. I have a major feeling that Addy is pregant and that Burke and Christina's secret will finally come out and the out come doesn't look good. As for the bathtube scene in next week episode, I'm jealous but happy that they are finally together all though I do not think it will last long. It looks(or at least) feels like something is going to go down. They'll be tested again but in a major way that will not invovle Addison(rest easy mer/der fans). I am however happy that Mcsteamy finally had great bedside manners and I believe that he is looking out for Mer. There friends(in a weird sort of way)and I believe that there is some truth to the whole Derek being damage beyond repair. I mean, who else knows Derek better than Derek???(They were childhood friends and after tonights epsiode I am assuming that Mark was Derek's only male friend). Plus Mark did damage Derek so he would know. Anyhoo, looking foward to next week. Looks like it won't have those funny one liners though. The brief interchange at the end is not to keep the smoldering romance of meredith and derek front and center in fans minds all week long. THis couple has chemistry strong enough to sustain real dialogue and more smoldering looks. There is nothing boring about some in depth coverage of meredith and derek in heartfelt and romantic communication. it doen't have to be all smooth but it is time for a deepening of character for each. Character development for Izzy, for Christina and Bailey are working. let's have the central character show some thing besides elevator one liners. And those smoldering looks can hold a lot of viewers, - let him cry about hurt, broken trust, let her reveal some substance and the viewers that tune in weekly to hold their breath on hteir progress will really be spellbound.
