Hi happy Pschyrembel! I think you are right about Derek. I love what you said about him feeling overwhelmed with his love for Meredith and loving for the first time with the right person. Patrick said he enjoys racing more than he enjoys doing the show...that is understandable with the pressure he is under and long hours he puts in. Especially now at the end of the season, they are probably all exhausted. I think that the end is going to be bumpy too, but it makes sense if the show is going to run 6 or 7 seasons. This is a pivotal season, the one that will set the characters on the path that they will play out in the rest of the seasons. I think that DerMer will be ok and end up together in the end, but do have some growing pains to still go through. I cannot wait to see what will happen!Posted 4/17/2007 1:00:00 AM #

in the preview though it showed merder hugging.. so i think they're at least semi-ok in this episode. i was thinking about the merder abbreviation. i think i'm just gunna call them merek. its shorter and its the same thing haha. anyway..i wish it was thursday already! i cant wait to see how the whole izzie daughter thing plays out!Posted 4/17/2007 1:00:00 AM #

sponge....i also have trouble with the mer/der abbr. that's why i use der/mer instead. you don't get that morbid feeling when you say it that way. or we could just stop being lazy and type out their names! LOL one more day e1....i've been seeing the promos every day and it looks like a great show as usual. it appears to me that cristina is going to put mccreepy in his place--that should be very satisfying. and i really don't think the comment derek makes about being chief is horrible. any one of the possibilities that McDMmmMmmmm (sry for the sp.) listed could happen. i think that is the direction his comment is going in -- his priorities have shifted and he knows what's most important now. his career comes second to his relationship w/mer. ;)Posted 4/18/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Well, Meggie, let me ask you something. Do you know CONSISTENCY? Have you not seen the TREND? It's gotta be Meredith and Derek for the cliffhangers. Trust me. They're the main couple of the show, remember? And yeah, I can't see Christina marrying someone. But Cristina, I do see her getting married to Burke. She thought about the engagement for eight freakin days, in case you've forgotten. Also, Burke and Cristina is not the type to back out from a decision. They carefully think about things. Yeah, yeah, I got the point, schmalentines . But I guess I'm just hoping so much mer/der to be ok that I don't want them to be the cliffhanger for the next season... ;-) Ah, wait, I can think of one: Derek is just so overwhelmed by this wedding that he propses to Meredith (which she's about to reject of course in the first episode/season 4, because she's not ready yet - but they'll be happy together anyway... ;-)) I neither like Christna nor Burke - they're both so arrogant and selfish!
