I don't think George and Izzie are right. Chemistry wise yes but I feel REALLY bad for Callie. She reminds me of myself. And I feel for her. It isn't okay to cheat, no matter what. And I don't want Der to hurt Mer again. I don't think she can take it, she came back from the 'light' for him. I don't think Derek will cheat on Meredith. I think he'll see this girl at the bar, talk to her for a little while and realize that he really does want to be with Meredith. And for the record, Derek TRIED comforting Meredith after her dad slapped her but she is the one that pushed him away. I think I would be distraught too if I tried helping my significant other AGAIN and he pushed me away AGAIN... and resorted to alcohol. I think Derek sees the opportunity to be Chief coming up and he is trying to be all grown up in the way he handles everything but he sees Meredith resorting to alcohol instead of relying on their relationship. If he is willing to talk about everything and communicate feelings, and Meredith isn't, why shouldn't he go for chief?? Last week Meredith was all about communicating and this week she isn't. Ok so this was a pretty good episode, I kind of liked the Addy spin off thing and can I just say she will get to work with some pretty hot men! lol Taye Diggs and Tim Daly! OMG HOT!!! lol So lets get back to SGH, ok seriously what is up with Burke having doubts about Cristina???!!! SERIOUSLY!! I just wanted to slap him and be like YOU LOVE HER SHE LOVES YOU WHY ARE YOU HAVING ANY DOUBT!!!!!!!!! I don't get it! and Cristina is looking at it like its just one day and this will make the man she loves happy, she wants to be commited to him she doesn't care about a big wedding but she will do it to make him happy. I am just so hoping that they will be ok because seriously if they don't go through with this wedding I will freak out!!! lol alright now Meredith omg I felt so bad for her in this episode! I mean first susan dies and she was just getting to know her and like her, and then she gets slapped by her own father!!! and like it was her fault! omg poor Mer I just wanted Derek to go over and like slap thatcher or at least yell at him! I felt horrbile for her and her face when she got slapped was just so like I don't know she just looked so hurt! Oh man i thought the chief was going to go over there and yell at thatcher or something! and I did like the begining of the show Mer was happy and it seemed like her and Derek made up, but then Susan dies which is so sad cause i liked her! and Mer gets slapped and Derek didn't run after her! and then he goes to her house and sees her with izzie, and alex and Derek walks away yet again! like what is wrong with the men in this episode I just wanted to slap them all! lol I don't know now that i am thinking about it this episode actually kind of sucks for everyone! it was a good episode for Addy but for everyone else it sucked! and OMG GEORGE AND IZZIE KISSING!!!!! he is so in love with her!!! and wow they stoped kissing right on time Callie was right there they could hav been busted!! but you know it will eventually come out! And the previews for next week! Derek better not say yes to that girl!! I mean if he does! OMG I will seriously probably hate him forever! how can he do that to Mer, first walk away from her and then accept a drink from another woman! I just really hope he says no because Meredith can't handle anymore like the girl has been through enough! what else can shonda put her through! SERIOUSLY!!! and ok Cristina writing her own vows it looks pretty funny actually, and I'm hoping it is funny cause the girls are all drinking at Cristinas while Burke is out with the boys! ohh I'm guessing bachelor and bachelorette parties! so funny I love it when they all get drunk especially Mer and Cristina! and I've never seen Burke drunk at all! maybe he'll go home and have some drunk sex with Cristina! lol :P so hopefully they are ok in this episode! Oh and Ava remembers but she was faking it! WHAT! thats a little crazy, ohh and adele comes back and then passes out!! Well it looks like a good episode! I agree with Katfet83 that Meredith has to give a little to Derek. I'm not so sure I would blame her from running away from Derek after losing fake mommy and getting slapped in the face...when people's emotions are that high and you're that upset, you don't necessarily think clearly or logically...been there done that! The problem I have is that she's just had so much shit happen to her (unusually so) that I'd be a little messed up to. Trisha, you are right about how you probably wouldn't been thinking rationally at a time like this but the one person that you should want to be with and the one thing you should want to do after being in a situation like that is A. I am totally disappointed in last night's episode. First, the 2-hour event was promoed as a Grey's Anatomy 2-hour special... NOT a two hour show promoting Addison's new show. Second, I did not connect with ANY of the characters in California. Not one - including Addison herself. I feel used by the producers. If it's a two hour Grey's Anatomy special, give me two hours of Grey's and air the new show directly after the regular Grey's time slot.Posted 5/4/2007 1:00:00 AM #

good idea trisha! Counseling would be good. I would have pushed someone away too, fake mommy died and she got slapped. And you are right you don't think clearly... She does need to give a little but so does he. He finally told her how he felt, and she was trying. Then Susan died and thatcher smacked her. That is why I am torn Katfet83. Because naturally you would want to either be by yourself or seek comfort and help from your loved one, and I can see how Derek is really asking how much he gets out of his relationship with Meredith. Its funny though because personally I am a bit like Meredith in the sense that I find it hard to open up and share my true feelings with my partner when I'm in a relationship so I can sort of see where Meredith is coming from.
