    I think that it is because he has learned when Meredith needs her space. Remember him hovering, she did not like that and when Meredith was slapped and Derek tried to stop her, she told him not now, or something like that. When he saw her in th house, I think that he realized that she need some space to just be and not worry about relationship stuff. Fake-mommy just died, and that is going to be hard for her. He may wait to let her come to him.

    Sorry I meant Alex and Izzie...yeah that's a good point...maybe derek isn't hovering and will let Meredith come to him?

    It seems like Meredith runs away whenever she has problems and doesn't feel like dealing with them. She definitely doesn't communicate, and she doesn't want him hovering, but she wants him there. She's so confusing... I think she needs her space, and then to communicate what she needs.

    yeah I had that problem earlier this evening....I think we're in for one big cliffhanger of a finale....like McDreamy02 said...this is TV

    I agree, I think that Mer will come to him when she is ready. I think that she runs from her problems because we all do at one point or another. It's realistic, at least for me

    All I can say is I don't know if I can take another 4 seasons of up and down Mer/Der......I'm actually looking forward to the summer so I can relax and get some perspective....man who would have thought a TV show could be so addicting...I'm almost embarrassed
