Well, this is the week that Addy goes to Cali to see if she wants to move there. It is a sad thought that she could leave SGH. She has really helped Alex grow and even Mark has grown because he wants to be good enough to deserve her. But as Meredith said last night the hardest thing is not knowing what you want and that is Addy. Meredith has hard times ahead of her. Looks like her dad slaps her and Susan could die! Wow! And will this bring her and Derek together as the spoilers have said? I hope so. I think that it is going to help. I think that Meredith is going to take to heart what Derek said. I think that she is going to deal with her death-wish issues in the land of the living and find that she wants to live for herself and have Derek by her side. I think that they are going to be stronger by the end of the season. Burke and Cristina are in for a pause as Burke thinks about his marriage. Izzie and George are still struggling and Callie is finding out more. Sounds like a stellar, Grey's Anatomy episode!Posted 4/27/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Isn't this the week that is two hours?? That is exciting in itself! But Susan being in jepordy could cause Thatcher to go into a rage and hit Mer. I hope it all goes well for MerDer, they both deserve to be happy, and stable, and lots of other things that I can't think of because I have been at work for twelve hours. Oh i am totally sure Burke and Cristina will be fine! her trying on wedding dresses with the girls! looks like a fun time and omg the mamas are BACK!! lol they are soo funny and its funny how Cristina is so scared of Burkes mom when usually people are intimdated and scared of Cristina! lol and the spoilers are saying that they do walk down the isle with Cristina in the foufy dress, the bridesmaids and their own vows to each other (which I can't wait to hear!!) lol but the wedding I think is going to be so amazing I really can't wait to see it! Ok and when I saw the previews for this episode the thing that stood out for me the most was actually Thatcher slapping Meredith!!(which is weird cause usually I'm all about omg whats going to happen to bang!! but there was nothing huge with them, but the slaping Meredith just stuck with me!) like seriously he slapped Mer! I mean who slaps Mer!! SERIOUSLY!!! lol if I were Derek I would have gone over and punched him out! lol but I am really hoping that Merder will be ok cause Mer does look upset in this episode but I think they will be fine because Love is deeper than anything! Derek will eventually come to his senses and realize that i think and I do think Mer and Der have to talk about what happend to get past this, but look at Burke and Cristina I mean they have gone through alot in their relationship! and i mean ALOT!! and now they are getting married! and all the stuff they have gone through has made their relationship stronger so I think the same will happen with Merder! So the whole Gizzie thing I really don't know whats going to happen there last week they were totally fun and I was routing for them but now I don't know it just seems to be a sort of a weird place, and George transferring to Mercy West!! NOOO!!! I really don't want george to leave but i don't think he will cause TR isn't leaving so I think he'll be staying at SGH! but thats about all I have to say right now about next weeks episode! can't wait to watch it!! :DPosted 4/27/2007 1:00:00 AM #

And getting back to Meredith and Derek, I kind of have an issue with Derek accusing Meredith of not communicating, Derek hasn't been communicating either: 1. He never told her about Addison; 2. He continued to confuse her throughout season 2 with how he really felt; 3. In Episode 1 Season 3 he finally told her how he felt; and 4. Since her near-death experience he hasn't said anything about what's been bothering him and instead Meredith has to drag it out of him. I think both of them need to learn how to communicate with each other. Not communicating with Addison led her elsewhere (to Mark) because Derek had been "absent" in their marriage. Derek has to make sure he doesn't fall into that same trap again as he tends to become very withdrawn when things are bothering him. Just some thoughts as usual.....Posted 4/28/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I think that is one of the things that Derek is trying to change. I think that he has seen how he is partly responsible for the dissolving of his relationship with Addison. He also ask Mer for a do over in the Bar. He wants to start over with honesty as a foundation for their relationship. He is communicating with Meredith now, telling her what is bothering him in the deepest part of him; the truth sometimes hurts though. I think that it is a good sign that Meredith does recognize that something is wrong and whats to hear what is bothering him. Something that hurtfully would be hard for Derek to say; I would not want to tell Meredith that because it may damage her beyond repair. She may leave him. But in the end I think Derek shows he has the strength that this relationship takes because he is willing to say the hard things even though it is the hardest thing to say.Posted 4/28/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Thanks Mcdreamy02...sorry for being so out of the loop. That sucks...cause I really like Susan and the relationship she was building with Meredith. Trisha is right, Derek absolutely does need to learn to communicate, as he has not done much better than Meredith in the past...Trisha's point that Derek withdraws when he is troubled is very true. I think what Burke said to him is what gave him the courage to open up to Meredith. But I agree with MD02 that it was hard for Derek to say it, because he knew it was going to be hurtful to Meredith and he is afraid of damaging her. These are real-life struggles with communication that ordinary people have to deal with. I am happy seeing Meredith & Derek begin the emotional work that will take their relationship to a higher level.Posted 4/28/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Hi Y'all What did Burke actually tell Derek- I couldn't see it yet nor read it on quotes. Funny as it is, I can always totally understand why Derek acts the way he does, but I kind of never understand that dark and twisty Meredith. Derek is always trying to do the right thing. He tries to keep up his marriage and doesn't want to hurt Meredith by telling her he is istill in love with her, without knowing yet if he can make the decision for her. He doesn't want to hurt her even more, than he already did. And not talking about her near-death experience: would you talk straight away with someone you are suspicious on comitting suicide? That is kind of dangerous, too, isn't it? As I see the problem with Derek trying to deal with his own needs besides doing the right things. I'm talking about season 1 episode 1: he shouldn't have slept with Meredith, BUT he was hurt and felt free to act like that after Addison did this to him and maybe like Richard he was just practicing to be on the road again... Also he wants to be chief (and as you know Meredith kind of complicates that). I'm really happy for all Burktina fans - do you think they will actually call her Dr. Burke or will they make it Dr. Yang Burke (like Montgomery Shepherd)? And we all deserve to see all of them in pretty, pretty dresses and tuxedos and dancing (in public!). (Well I better close for now, my 3 year old doesn't want to sleep and he already was up till 10 yesterday.
