you could be right, but i'm not convinced that it's only his pride that's involved. maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part though. i love alex and i thought he and izzie were a torrid couple. but i guess those types of relationships don't last forever. which brings us back to der/mer and their hot sex---it's gonna fizzle out unless there's more behind the s&m.Posted 10/18/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Angie--I agree with you about Alex. I was surprised and very pleased at his show of emotion towards Izzie. I always wanted them to get back together, but didn't think it could ever happen. Tonight though, I think you are right, that he does still care. Whether he loves Izzie or loves Ava, I don't know. I do love Alex with Ava too. I am not going to say much about the rest of the show, because I don't see this as a wonderful episode. I see what they did with Derek as a total kick in the teeth to MerDer fans. I don't see it as growth, all it did was set the stage for the new woman, who is coming on to be Derek's "potential love interest".Posted 10/18/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I think that it is going to be really good for them, I am not worried at all. I am really liking Derek and his growth as a teacher. He really seems to be working at other things in his life. hey Betsy! it's always nice to hear someone shares my point of view! ;) i'm just thinking....could derek possibly be trying anything he can to get a reaction from meredith? what with the whole playing up to lexie thing right in front of cristina knowing that it would get back to mer; and then with this new "PLI" (potential love interest)--it seems as though he's working hard to find what it's going to take to get her to come to him - body, mind and soul.Posted 10/18/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Yes Matt I know you think its all wonderful, but not everyone agrees. I do not agree with your viewpoint. I am tired of always feeling miserable at the end of every episode. Grey's is tv, its supposed to be entertaining, it is not real life. I have had it with every time something good could happen with MerDer, it is ruined. Every relationship ended in misery once again tonight. It was like a repeat of the finale from hell. I am happy for those of you who enjoy this, but if you're wondering where everyone is lately, its because there are obviously alot of us who are too disappointed to even feel like talking about the show.Posted 10/18/2007 1:00:00 AM #
