Did you all think Yang's Burke rant about not being happy for him and not wishing him the best is the show's way of telling off the real life Burke actor after their parting of ways?

As I stated before, I loved last nights episode!
Alex and Izzie: I think we are now beginning to see whats truly going on with Alex. I know he is stressed about Ava, thinking she is pregnant. He is really having a hard time with that. From what I've read, she will be sick and it seems Alex will be there for her as well as Izzie. I think this will defintely bring Izzie and Alex closer together and Alex's background will hopefully open up for season 5.
Bailey: I love Bailey. She is so honest and is like a mother to all of them. She does a great job keeping everybody in line. I thought her comments about Sloan were so funny and how about her hittting him on top of the head. Everybody truly repects her. Just like when Sloan was in the elevator, he acted like it really bothered him what Bailey said about him, even though he knew it was true. Wonder if he'll decide to make changes in his life??????
George: Seems to be getting back to his old self...the George we have all loved from season 1.
Cristina: I am so glad that she has FINALLY decided to deal with Burke. This entire season she has hardly even uttered his name. I thought Sandra Oh did a great job in her speech to the chief about Burke. Hopefully, she will now move on with her life. I thought the singing scene with Lexie was so funny and I loved when Mer came down to the morque and told her she was seeing a therapist and Cristina said that made her feel better, basically that Mer was worse off than she was.
Mer/Der: I love them! I love that they are working on this clinical trial together. Especially this epsiode. You can tell its getting more and more intense between them. As much as I wanted Mer to say stay, when Der told her he would if she wanted him to, I knew she wouldn't. She isn't there yet...and he looked so sad when he walked off with Rose. Its like she just reaffirmed to Der that she still didn't want him, even though she does. But naturally, when he came back with the champagne was such a great scene with them. There chemsitry was so strong in that scene I thought. I just wanted her or him to grab the other, but again I knew it was still too soon for that to happen. But, at least we know its going to happen soon. Then at the end, my heart just sank when Der said he had slept with Rose. I guess that had to happen to show that even by sleeping with her, Der realized that it didn't make any difference....he still loves Mer and always will. At least he said he thought of Mer the whole time. I'm not saying that it was the right thing to do to sleep with Rose, but honestly, I don't feel sorry for her. She has known since the beginning what she was getting into. Even earlier that evening when she saw how bad Der wanted to stay at the hopistal with Mer...that should have told her everything she needed to know. I do think Derek needs to just break it off with her soon. Like the next episode. He owes Rose that. End it and be done with it!
And finally, I love Mer going to therapy. She is beginning to see what the doc is saying and even more so next episode it seems from the promo. I can't wait for Derek to find out that she is seeing a therapist. He will be so proud of her!
One last comment: I have been reading alot of comments (since the show started back) about the low ratings of GA. Naturally, I think all shows and networks are feeling the low ratings especially since the strike. But, it seems alot of press are really commenting on the viewers that GA is losing. I guess its because GA has always had very high ratings and they have taken a bid dip from 19-20 million to 15-16 million from these last few episodes. I read where ABC commented that GA isn't the only show that has taken a fall and did not understand why GA was singled out. I don't either. I guess its because its been such a popular show and its just surprising that it has lost some viewers. I truly hope the ratings will go up these last few episodes. Hopefully, reuniting Mer/Der will bring alot of fans back. Lets hope so!! I really hate to hear and read articles about GA losing viewers.

Hey everyone its nice to see more and more people posting on here about last nights episode. Well i wanted to start off by saying, i understand the point that everyone is trying to make about having too much "sex" in Grey's Anatomy, but i mean look at MTV today, which is what WE teenagers like to watch. Its all about sex and sexual references such as the show Tila Tequila. I dont think they are aiming for 16-20 but i mean i am 18 and have been watching the show since i was 16.
On to the episode. I loved how George was the Chief's intern and thought he was all speical but then in the end he realized he was being played. My heart broke for the lovers of tonights episode and i felt for them a lot it got me saying "No way they had to have done it this time, HE ISNT DEAD HE ISNT DEAD!" it was really hard.
I loved how it showed the struggle between Christina now we come out of the "Robot" Phase. Christina and Meredith haven't been as close i think this past season so i was really happy when Meredith went down and told her how she is going to therapy. It made me laugh that Christina felt better after that.
I think Izzie finally found her calling. I loved how she was playing with Baby Baliey so cute.
I love how all the characters are growing as the show keeps moving on. When i saw adele back i was like..Hmmm back because that show was cancelled or what? :) but i loved having her back. Keeps the chief in place. Well anyways enough of my rant i loved the show last night. Think ill watch like 5 more times!

Do we think Izzie is the next Neonatal specialist? Addison said in the beginning of season 2 that she had a knack for that specialty. I think it would be cool if that was her calling, Izzie needs one. I miss the Izzie from seasons one and two. Ok, I miss all the characters from those seasons.

Not sure about Izzie but I think Meredith is going to choose neuro as her specialty and be a brain surgeon like Derek.

I really enjoyed Grey's last night. I was laughing so hard when Bailey was telling the nurses about how Sloan was a "whore." It was so right on, I'm glad someon can tell it like it is on htat show.
My heart actually was really sad for Cristina this episode. She really loved Burke and I miss them together. As if it wasn't bad enough that he left her at the alter, now he has to take all the credit for everything, too. He was ready to quit before.
I totally died when Meredith let Derek go home with Rose. She saw her take the paper, she knew what she was planning. Derek soooo wanted her last night. At least he admitted that he thought of her while having sex with Rose
Can't wait for next week. so many ends to tie up . . .

i love to watch how they're looking at each other! they just meant to be together.and in the last scene of MerDer..in this scene we can see that they really want each other. i can't wait to see the together.
and i'm sure that the next episode is going to be so good. because i enjoy watching them all.
And i really feel sorry for cristina. she is so sad now and only mer knows what's good for her.
george finally told chief what he was thinking! and it was so great
and i think that derek has to have sex with rose because after that he realize how much he loves meredith.
p.s. i know that my english is not good but i'm not from america i don't speak english well.

I read in our newspaper here that the rumour that Katy Heigl wants out of GA has resurfaced. Has anyone else heard this?

I have not, but I do not think that there is anyway that they are going to let her go till her contract is up.

I read that same thing on another board too. I hope she doesn't leave. I'd hate to see any of the original cast leave the show now. If KH does, I think she will regret it down the road. I know movies are great to be involved in but how much more can you be exposed to the public than being in everyones living rooms every Thursday night on TV? KH was fortunate to have a couple of movies while doing GA that have done well and she is filming one now I understand. I just hope she doesn't act too quick and get out of GA and then her movie career doesn't last. Like PD said, all of this fame doesn't last forever so enjoy it while it last...and by that I think she should stick with GA because thats a sure thing and continue with movies on their summer hiatus. And another thing, I thought she was under a 6-7 yr contract like everybody else...how can she get out of that ?
