Broomy, thanks for the clarification about SR saying she didn't say they would be happy :) I am as addicted as they rest of you are and I can't stay away from this site and finding out what you all think. I've watched last night's show 3x now and I think it is one of GA's best ever. I applaud Christina and what she said about Burke and how she feels. I had a similar experience and have never been able to come up with the right words. And Meredith, her therapist and Derek!!! What a great, great show.

I checked the schedule and the finale is on May 22 and it's a 2 hour finale...WOOHOO
I'm curious to see what's up with George's intern status ... I hope its not something negative.
I'm not too happy about once again going into a 4 month summer hiatus but here's to Season 5 and new adventures.

THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY THE MOST MAGICAL GREYS EPISODE EVER!!! Shonda and all the writers-- hats off to you-- you outdid yourselves!! There have been many great episodes and all those episodes are just littered with amazing, magical moments between these characters that are just so alive, but this ENTIRE episode was all magical moments! Where to start? McDreamy02-- I loved your recap on MerDer-- perfect. MerDer are SO amazing-- more amazing then ever. Derek was definitely talking about the clinical trial and their relationship and the moment was very McDreamy. And Meredith-- well, who isn't proud and amazed by who Meredith is becoming? Huge strides for Meredith. HUGE! She has always been such an amazing character-- goes to show, you can improve on amazing!
Christina-- long awaited. But very realistic that we have been waiting so long-- she was in mourning. The hold-your-breath-this-in-not-happening-to-me stage of mourning. Now she's heading right into the angry, active phase which is exactly what she (and we) needs! She is going to be amazing to watch over the next couple epis. Her moment with the chief and letting it all out there... LOVED IT!
George-- I love George. He is precious to the show. I am loving seeing the chances offered for his character to grow. I enjoyed his and Lexie's friendship this epi. I am now thinking it's going to be good. Lexie has just some awkwardly shining moments. She is going to be fun to watch. And I'm very glad to see moments (although brief) of that strong friendship connection between George and Izzie. I think right now, it's right for the writers to keep them apart a bit. They need to grow-- especially Izzie. But thank you for including those moments. They still offer hope.
Mark-- I LOVE Mark. He is so enjoyable to watch and he has the promise of amazing, the promise of magical. Watching him realize who he's been and being made uncomfortable by it-- growing pains. I love what Mark is for Derek too. He makes Derek a better person, even when Mark himself is not being a better person. He is funny, lovable and now he's getting REAL. He is going to be great to watch over the next couple epis and couple years.
Alex. I sometimes am on the fence about Alex. But truly, deep down-- I know my heart is going to break for him. Watching Alex grow will be great.
The chief & Adele-- why does he try to change for her? All she does is point out why he's not good enough for her or doing enough for her? UGH! The chief could be so much more, I think.
Bailey. The Momma of them all. We all LOVE Bailey.
I hope everyone enjoyed last nights show as much as I did.
Kathy, where are you? You must be loving the MerDer moments!!!

Great episode, you couldn't miss a second of it ! I liked Miranda's telling every1 we know Mc Steamy is, let's get over it and get back to work, and telling McSteamy to get over himself . Looks like Rose will fade out and MerDer rises again?!. The gay s in the military /coming out was so sad-I felt sorry for the lover. And good for Christina, she's had to swallow her heroism for a long time and Burke never appreciated what she did for him. Encore writers..!

I cannot help but be disappointed in Grey's---why does it have to be the embodiment of everything that is trashy and inappropriate. I love the show--the concept, the chemistry b/t the characters but seriously they need to draw the line. It has long since hurled past the point of "suitable"--- They could have made it decent but instead they take something great and continue to spoil it. It is all that corrupts young adults and dirties their minds. (sex, lots of it, doesn't matter with who, infidelity, gay/lesbian material (we all know what that means--they don't need to show it), etc.
Anyway props with a great story-line and cast but shame on all of the sex.

I loved last night's episode! It was one of the best so far ! There was so many things I loved about the show but mainly Mer/Der. The way they look at each other just melts my heart, seriously! I truly can't wait until the finale with these two, you know it will be something very special. I'll post again later, gotta get back to work!

I soilders' story was so sad. I thought it paralelled MerDer nicely. Mer keeps denying her feelings and is going to end up "dying" alone because of her fear and pride. I loved that the therapist wouldn't outright saw Mer is a coward, that's not her job. The therapist's job is to help their patients talk about the difficult things and figure out what it means to them. Calling Meredith out on her crap heroic story was great. Meredith is faking the bright and shinny attitude, it's a lie she is telling herself so she doesn't have to talk about the fact that she is sad and still drowning in her own selfpity. Two thumbs up for Dr. Wyatt!
And Cristina, yet again, she made me cry. I loved that she finally had her say about everything she did for Burke. Damn straight she was the hand behind the master, and now she can't even hold a clamp! The Chief better step-in with the whole Hahn bitchiness thing.

Baby..Boo-- there will be more Greys next year-- have no fear!!!! The actors are all signed on for 7 years contract and there's been no talk of cancelling, especially with the effort that's being made to lift up the show even more.
ajack-- as a parent, I see your point-- this is a battle all across television when it comes to kids, especially teenagers. I don't think teenagers are the target audience for Greys. As for teenagers watching it? It's the parents job to know what their kids are watching and make decisions about limiting what that watch (and follow through with those limits). It is my belief that the target audience here is adults-- aiming towards the 30+ crowd.
luv4whedon-- I totally agree about the soldiers story mirroring MerDer and how they could end up... I know Mer was definitely touched by them.
Kathy-- good to hear you loved it! I always love your comments about MerDer!
