I loved it. I didn't love the part where Derek said he slept with Rose ... but thank god Shonda spared us from having to watch that.

The best of all is that we're starting to see Christina and Alex deal with some of their baggage. Hopefully that will continue into next season.

I thought George was hilarious in this episode and I'm glad the Chief is making headway at work and with Adele.

And most all, Dr. Wyatt is challenging Meredith and she's fighting it but next week, it looks like she lets down her walls. All very exciting and can't wait for next week.

Hey Rose, so good to see you again!!!!

I have not done this in a while, so bare with me. This was a brilliant episode again. Grey’s is back, even though I never doubted it. (The strike was a blessing; the place that we thought we would end up is going to happen before we thought; seriously!)

Meredith is growing and that is something amazing. Therapy and a purpose; she is healing and you can see the wounds closing before your eyes. She is reeling Derek in and she does not even know it. She is showing him her growth and strength; she is becoming the person that is ready for the things that Derek has been asking her for. Derek on the other hand is hurting. He is still so in love with her and is trying to pretend that he is not. I don’t feel sorry for Rose; she had to know she was the rebound girl. Derek is just waiting for Meredith to tell him she is ready. The success that he mentioned connected with the champagne was not just the clinical trial; he is speaking of them.

Mark deserves a special mention here; he wants to be different. He has seen himself and he is not happy. He wants to be someone of depth and that is really a big step for him. I also like that Mark is the guy to tell it like it is to others. Mark is the new Addison.

Cristina is in pain. Burke is gone and becoming a surgical rock star and Hahn is totally ignoring her. Cristina is starting to come out of the malaise that she has been in and is beginning to fight and deal with what happened. It was good to see Meredith be a real friend to Cristina; push her to deal with what is happening.

Alex, man Alex, he is in for a rough ride; everyone else has had their hell, now it is his turn. I cannot wait to see him open up a bit. I think that he and Izzie may be on a road back to a really good friendship and maybe couple-hood.  George and Lexie are just hysterical. George is getting some teaching attention and it is about time. I hope that George will get a chance to be good at something, a break; he deserves it. Lexie is good for him; she gives him some life and fun; he needs that. Loving Lexie! The chief is changing and becoming a better man; it is going to be a long road though, as is evidenced with foul up of Bailey’ s situation. I am hoping that Bailey will get some more time soon. I would like to see her get more story.  Hahn is struggling with needing connection with people, but like Cristina, not knowing how. I have troubling seeing her and Callie actually becoming a couple. It seems out of place for Callie.

One more week before the finale and it is going to be good stuff!

Thanks Trisha, good to see you too! Many of us were not able to post on Insider the past few months because of technical problems they were having. Fortunately they fixed things just in time for the new episodes. Yeah I am here getting my MerDer fix right along with the rest of the addicts, lol.

Matt, loved your summary esp the MerDer part--gave me the chills. I loved Derek talking about him & Meredith with the champagne bottle, "when we get it right...and we will get it right" (or something like that)....I thought that was ultra romantic.

I am really getting fond of Lexie, and of Lexie & George's friendship. PLEASE keep them just friends, writers! Laughed so hard at Mark tonight, especially the look on his face when Bailey was talking to the nurses about him...

I LOVED meredith in this epiosde. and cristina, singing, i love how meredith goes in tells her that she was going to therapy, and she said it made her feel better.

Meredith and derek - i am personally sad that their patient died. And derek with the long speech of the bottle, and the wine. Well i have personally seen pictures from the seasonfinale, and there is one picture where meredith looks like she is at the trial and derek is faced to her, and you seeher face, and she's holding a bottle.

i just am happy they are going to be together; i also love the elevator scene with mark and derek. how mark was like i got the best doctor in the hospital to tell off the nurses, and all she did was call me a person. then derek went, i did it with her, and the whole time i was thinking about meredith, whoses the person now. i thought that was soo cute.  and i dont like rose. end of story.

izzie needs to tell alex that ava isn't pregant also..!

I really don't like Rose. She is trying too hard and just too desperate. Face it...he's just not that into you.

Omg, i'm soooooooooooooooooooo snoopy what will happen in the last episodes!!! i hope shonda will give us a prickling and stirring moment with derek and meredith. and hopefully it will be realistic and not too drippy, because grey's has always been something extraordinary and special so that our protagonists deserve and most of all require a supidupi happy ending. well not ending, but... you know what i mean ;-)

so i'm so looking forward to a thrilling moment with our favourit couple. damned, can't wait!!!!!! anybody who 's got good spoiler for me??

I think you are totally right Matt, and I'm glad they fixed the technical glitch Rose!!!!

I love Dr. Wyatt and what a great job she is doing at helping get Meredith to where she needs to be.

I also loved the scene in the elevator with Mark and Derek. I agree that Mark is trying to be seen for the guy he wants to be and it looks like from the promo for next week that he's going to try and make that effort. I have really liked Mark from the moment he showed up and Eric Dane does such a good job with his character.

I didn't think that next week was the season finale, my impression was that there were 2 more episodes after last night so that the finale would be in 2 weeks because I seem to recall that when production started again after the strike they said we would get 5 more episodes and so far we've gotten 3 which means 2 more left?

I agree that its Alex's time to go through a bit of hell. Meredith and Izzie, Critina, George and Derek have all gone through a lot of personal hell over the course of the show, and like I've always said, I'm dying to know about Alex and what has made him so angry. Does Rebecca re-appear in next week's episode?

Countdown to Derek and Meredith opening that bottle of champagne .... and who knows what else ...
