Nice to meet you, too, Matt. It is sad there is no possibility to write private notes. I would just like to know more about some people around here, like where they are from and how they live (and I don't want to bore anyone with stories about my quite life). That is half the fun of Grey's for me to learn how other people see things and with what kind of solution they come up with. I think its over. I love MERDER got me through some rough times, but its over. He met someone new, and that sucks cause Mer is going through so much, but Der doesn't have any patients. He's with Mer, then he isn't, he's with his wife, then he isn't, then he is back with Mer and thats not good enough and he doesn't want to wait around, or help her, stick it out like a real man! Love can do a lot but sometimes love just isn't enough. Isn't it funny how much we want them to be "the ones" for each other? How did Shonda do this do us? It is not like we are trying to save their marriage, it was even against Dereks. I think he just doesn't know what to do. He is not used to exhausting relationships - he has been with Addison for the last 11 (?) years and kind of lost her in the end. So these are the weak spots of our McDreamy and as all GA's he will learn and improve - maybe not right away, but at least within the next 4 seasons.Posted 5/11/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I absolutely adore Dr. McDreamy...hence the "McDreamyMmMmM". ha. But i am soo mad at him right now. I love Meredith, and i would always back her up. BUT right now my favorite character has to be Addison! She is laid back and isn't in any stupid relationship drama. I loved the bacholer party scene with her and the guys...she has an attitude that just lightens the show. I think she's great...and i'm sad that she's leaving grey's anatomy. I'm looking forward to the spinoff though. I'm really disappointed in grey's right now. It's just sad to see everybody [except Addison] in a trainwreck. Even Baily is upset over the chief resdient position. Shonda wants us to leap with her, but i think we've landed in a split already. I really hope in a year we still aren't in limbo with all this MERDER are they aren't they ever gonna be together. mcdreamy02 and Pschyrembel (as usual i have to copy and paste your name - its too difficult to remember how to spell!!!) i have just really enjoyed your posts. my sister poppy has come down from Dublin for the weekend and is mocking me and all the grey's fans. she doesn't get it. she is a sad individual!!! anyway i agree Pschyrembel it would be great to know more about some of the people here. i love reading all the posts. i read them every day and enjoy them so much. i watched grey's on line in work today!!! it took about 3 hours to watch as i had to pretend i was working!!! imagine the cheek of them asking me to do some work!!! slave drivers!!! i really enjoyed the episode. i actually feel sorry for derek as i think that mer is shutting him out. he wants to be there for her but she wont allow it. they will get together next week at the wedding. they will get all romantic!!! ahh!!!Posted 5/11/2007 1:00:00 AM #

it's like the episode with the train wreck where bonnie tells derek to tell her fiancé that if love were enough they would still be together. i think derek might be starting to think this way. he loves mer but sometimes love just isn't enough. i guess i can understand where he's coming from because it is extremely frustrating being in a relationship when the other person doesn't talk or open up...you can only take so much before it's too much to handle. on the other hand, meredith has been through so much this year! just focusing on the things that deal with derek…mer fell in love with him. she finally gave in to going out with him, knowing it would be harder at work. she was open to a relationship with der only to have his wife show up! she tried to get over him but ended up confessing her love to him only to have him pick his wife over her. her heart was literally broken and she couldn’t move on cause she had to see der and addie everyday at work. derek broke her and even though they are still back together now doesn’t mean her heart is fully healed. i think that everything that happened with derek plus all the other shit (mom dying, fake mom dying, almost dying, thatcher…) has left her unable to truly trust anyone but herself…and she can’t really even do that because she gave up on herself and drowned. derek is being selfish about mer not talking to him…he has to realize that he (along with the many other things she’s had to deal with) broke her and it’s going to take time to heal. telling her he met another woman and she should be worried isn’t gonna help her open up. i think mer needs to get her life back on track and right now derek isn’t helping with that.Posted 5/11/2007 1:00:00 AM #
