Well good night every one. I just want to remind you all how Meredith is feeling right now in GA land. She would tell us she feels like one of those freakin miserable people who shouldn't be around normal people because she might infect the happy people(the thanksgiving feeling). I think that Meredith is going to pursue Derek. In the fourth episode of this season Derek bowed out of the race between Finn and himself for Meredith. It made Meredith realize that she wanted Derek. She loved him and would not settle for anyone else. I think that Meredith is going to do the same thing again. She is going to see that she could lose Derek and pursue him. I think that she is going to try to learn to let Derek in. I was interesting, in that same episode, Derek and Finn talk and Derek finds out that Meredith talks to Finn more. Meredith has always been bad at communication with Derek. She gets that from her dad. I think that she is scared to truly open up to Derek because, she knows that he is the one. She loves him so much that she is afraid that she will mess it up. She will say the wrong thing and drive him away. So she keeps him at arms length. That way it is safe. She feels like it is safe. But she needs to learn to just open up and share. It is hard to bond with someone if you do not invest part of yourself in them. Hi Y'all Here is a big "La Ola" sweeping across the ocean for Trisha. It is 10 a.m. in Germany and I'm all updated about GA - just great. What a mess !!! is all I can say. Derek will not cheat, but as he said, he doesn't want to keep a secret. If you are in a relationship that doesn't make you happy for whatever reason it is quite an alarming signal if you start to look at other women/men. So, yes, Mer should worry about it - IF SHE CAN FIND THE TIME. McDreamyO2, don't worry, my husband loves GA, too, but he doesn't want to be spoiled and is patiently waiting for all translated episodes to air. He is quite similar to Derek, too. Especially in season 1 when Derek had all those funny lines, ironic and intelligent comments. What makes me sad the most is Meredith has no fault at all - it is happening to her and she can't do anything but survive somehow. Derek and being gifted as a surgeon are the only good things that have happened to her. And if you get used to not being happy you start wondering about being happy until you are not happy anymore and your world is just right again - negative conditioning. you know what i really like about this epi...despite painfully watching meredith...is the fact the she has great friends... i mean...i love the scene when the interns wait for her to finish / retake the exam, really love christina follow meredith around...well thats her person, really love alex sitting with meredith quietly, u know just being there for her, really love george's gesture of sticking by despite him dealing with his own issues, and izzie... its like they all stick by each other when denny died & when george dad died...their like siblings you know... family...brothers & sisters... really really love it!Posted 5/11/2007 1:00:00 AM #

and you know what i really dont like about this epi is the way the attendings acted / reacted. i mean aren't they the matured ones here?! who supposed to act mature enough to understand... i mean what is wrong with preston, pushing christina to do a wedding that is so catholic when he knows she is a jewish...and derek... he knows meredith's fake mom just died and her father slaps her, and he got what? tired...tired of breathing for her? come on of all the time he'll get tired why now?...why not before or after?! why now when he knows meredith is having a test not just for her career but a test of her life... i mean why can he be alex... just sit there with her and be quiet...feel her pain maybe she'll let her in, or be like george, find a way to help her, talk to the chief who i think knew meredith better...why can he just the mcdreamy that she loved & choose over finn.Posted 5/11/2007 1:00:00 AM #
