mer's personality is way to complex for her to be anything like sydney. she'll be different in the way she looks at life, but im sure her sense of humor and all that will be the same. she'll just be a little more bright and shiny.Posted 2/27/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I agree shades_of_grey. Except I could never really see Meredith as bright and shiny. More mature, and at peace about her mother, but not really bright and shiny. I don't think that works for Meredith.Posted 2/27/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I think that she will be more driven, but I am not sure that it will be only about her career. I think that she will be very invested in Derek because she does not want to be like her mother. Also, she has realized that her career is important, but not as important as her relationship with Derek. She might choose that, but I was thinking that she might be general, like the chief and be looking towards that job. I think that she will be chief one day. Not maybe, on the show, but that in the end, that would be something that she could be looking at long term. I think that she might want to do her mom proud now and that her way of doing that will be by being the best surgeon she can be and having a great relationship with Derek.Posted 2/27/2007 1:00:00 AM #
