    I think that Mark is going to be getting back with Derek (in the friendship sense, that is all). I could see him getting together with one of the new people that is sure to join the hospital in the coming year.

    From Spoilerfix: (Ausiello says Derek will make a decision in tomorrow night's episode that will make us MerDer fans SWOON!!!) 10/03 - Gizzie is dealt a setback this Thursday when George chooses. um. let's just say he makes an important decision that sets the stage for Episode 3, "Let the Truth Sting." Keep in mind, Shonda strongly hinted that Gizzie wouldn't start to come undone until news of their fling made its way around Seattle Grace. I believe what you witnessed in last week's opener was the snuggle before the s**tstorm. Derek also makes a decision at the end of the episode, and it's one that'll make all you Mer-Der fans swoon. Before Cristina can get a new love interest, she has to purge the old one from her system. And she'll do just that this Thursday when Mama Burke drops by Seattle Grace to administer a dose of tough love. And Cristina isn't the only person she goes all Dr. Phil on. Diahann Carroll takes Meredith to task for the "selfish" and "inappropriate" thing she did in last May's season finale. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide

    Thanks for the info Betsy. It makes me so happy inside to read some good Der/Mer news! I sooooooo love to swoon! :D That preview with Callie telling George "not tonite" says it all I think. He doesn't tell her. Then my guess is she finds out she's pregnant sometime soon, which makes him stay with her. I don't think Izzie and George stand a chance. Not very happy about that. :( The scenes with Mama Burke and Cristina will be stellar I'm sure. Two dynamic actresses going at each other will be awesome!

    O.K. I get it - something like fainting, right? But does swoon always have a positive sense? Just look at me, Shonda ruined my trust in people's expressions....

    Oh I am so happy to hear some positive news for Derek and Meredith. I feel like its time for some other characters to deal with the harshness of life. Give poor Meredith a break, she deserves one after last season. As for swoon it means either of two things, and in this context is a verb: 1. to faint; lose consciousness; or 2. to enter a state of hysterical rapture or ecstasy: (i.e. The teenagers swooned at the sight of the singing star). I just can't stand George with Caillie...it doesn't fit for me. I'm not saying I'm pro Gizzie but George and Caillie doesn't do it for me. I can't wait for tomorrow night. My sister is picking me up at work for the 1st of our GA Thursday nights since I got her hooked on GA over the summer. I watched the new show "Pushing Daisies" last night because it comes on CTV on Tuesdays here in Canada. It looks great but I have to recommend the Show "Dirty Sexy Money" which comes on right after GA. It's pretty good in my opinion. Nothing, however, beats GA !!!!!!

    Trish I totally agree with u. Meredith and Derek both need a break. Looks like they will finally get it. Yay! About the whole Mizzie thing, I can see a George and Lexie but Izzie... it just doesn't fit. I don't know... I watched Dirty Sexy Money and it was ok... I would just hate to see the main character (forgot his name) end up like his dad. And I think the darlings have way TOO MUCH money they should send some my way... lol Anyhow this is about GA and I just can't wait until the next episode.
