As long as Izzie and Georg stay friends, that is what I really care about. Their friendship is so good on the show and really important to their characters.

I agree Matt, Their friendship is key. I've made an executive decision that I'm not going to fret over Meredith and Derek (yeah right) ... I've figured out that martinis are the answer.... Shonda is going to continue keeping us on the rollercoaster and I doubt we'll see any resolve on the Mer/Der front until Season 7. I know that's me being pessimistic but I also thought a bit about it (after a few more martinis) and I've always loved rollercoasters, so I may has well strap myself in and enjoy the ride. I may not like certain parts and I may absolutely love others but I guess that's life and besides it's all out of my control. The good thing is that I can vent with all of you during both the good and the bad, and I wouldn't trade that for anything. I wish I could have you all over for drinks and some Grey's Anatomy.

Trisha--You are a very brave woman. I'm glad you're strapped in because the writer's blog is up on Grey Matter.

OMG How rollercoaster-ish was that blog. Well clearly we have no idea what's in store for Mer/Der this season. I agree with Matt that we've already seen both Mer/Der grow a little in the first two episodes ... hopefully thst continues. I just hope this new women is derek's other sister and not a new love interest. We know Mer and Derek are meant for each other, we just have to make sure they see that. Hiccup!

I don't think Shonda even knows what she truly wants to do with MERDER

agreed. I wish she would let them sink or swim, make a plan, follow thru (through?) on it.

I think that like a lot of damaged people their relationship will play out over time. It is going to have ups an downs, but in the end it will last. I am hoping that as they heal, they will grow together and grow closer through the healing. But I am just going to enjoy the ride!

I am hoping the ride isn't too painful, I really like them together, they can be very sweet and funny.

The whole thing I don't like about the MERDER will they won't they is that it has been done on every other show on TV...The will they won't they for 7 years is just sooo lame anymore and overplayed...thats why I liked Grey's cause it was different..just doesn't seem so different anymore
