    greysaddiction - I'm glad you see my point too.  I think alot of people feel this way about Mer/Der in the episode.  Alot of us at work talked about it this morning and everybody was like...why did he leave with Rose?????  I guess when you look at it through Derek's eyes, even though is he still hurting so bad over Meredith, she isn't giving him anything to hold on to.  You know?  In that case, why not go eat dinner with Rose.  He is sad about Meredith and he wants to feel happy.  Not that Rose will make him happy but I guess this way it will get his mind of of Meredith for a while.  I know one thing...there is ALOT that has to happen next Thursday with Mer/Der /Rose.  He better break it off with her..surely SHonda will let that happen especailly if Mer/Der get back together.  I hope we get some Sneak peaks or promos this week to make us feel alitlle better about what is coming in the finale.  ABC really needs to boost the finale up with Mer/Der for a big ratings night because they really didn't show too much from the promos last night!

    I really feel sad today.....I'm I crazy or what??  (ha)

    hey everyone!  long time no see  a big shout-out to my old friends Betsy, Trisha and Matt!!!!

    i guess i'm back now because this is actually the first time in a longggggggggg while that i've been excited about grey's and looking forward to the next episode; too bad it's the last one of the season! lol   i've read all the posts on this epi and agree with most of what you've all said so not gonna rehash it all.   maybe i'll just throw out a few things that come to mind for one reason or another.   let me ponder and get back with ya   lol

    Hey Angie! great to hear from you--I wondered if you were coming back! yeah isn't it great to feel that ol Grey's magic again. I know everyone is unhappy about the 4 months till season 5, but I am just glad that season 5 will be something to look forward to again.

    I am not all that concerned about Derek leaving with Rose last night. I think Matt is right on about both Derek & Meredith having intense growing pains and it's pointing them towards each other. I do agree that I hope their reunion doesn't happen in the last 5 minutes, but if it does, I'm sure it will be memorable enough to carry us through the summer.

    Kathy-- I know exactly what you mean-- I'm sad today too.  All of us who need to believe in MerDer and need the MerDer magic are sad.  Is it crazy?  Well, maybe.  But if it is, I'm in the crazy house with you!  Seriously, I really feel sad today.  I think it's because we can all relate.  We've all been there on some level at some point.  It's that same sadness.  Hats off to the actors-- EP & PD, to evoke that real sadness in us-- that is truly great acting!

    put me on the list of ppl who hope we get more than 3 minutes of der/mer next week.   i've had quite enough of rose at this point - but can totally get that derek "just wants it to be easy".   i agree with whoever said that they wished derek had seen or somehow found out that meredith is in therapy previous to the beginning of the final episode.   they really haven't laid much groundwork as far as a reconciliation as of yet, which says to me that there won't be a whole lot of der/mer doing the horizontal in the finale which is a bummer.  i guess we'll just have to settle for whatever we get, as usual.

    as far as the rest of the characters,  i find them all to be very interesting at this point, even izzie is not getting on my nerves anymore lol but she needs more of a storyline.  maybe the rumors are correct that she isn't long for the show.

    i really hope rebecca is gone for good next week.  i haven't liked her from the start but tolerated her and kept hoping for more.  however, by this point i couldn't care less if she keeled over or fell off the face of the earth.  alex needs so much more in a partner -- she's a total trainwreck -- and not doing him any good whatsoever.

    mark sloan is a breath of fresh air and i find myself smiling whenever he enters a scene!   really loving his and PD's scenes together!

    cristina was too weird for words - i think she's totally off her rocker at this point.  last epi too was hysterical - with the whole "like a virgin" thing in the morgue.  i love how her and lexie interact.  speaking of lexie, she has been everything we hoped she'd be for the show in general and for meredith in particular. 

    george is back!!  yaaaaaaaaay!!! 

    remember how everyone thought erica hahn was a lesbian?  it's looking more and more like perhaps she's not, but someone else could be.  so funny!

    chief was amusing as usual - having george giving him the clue he so desperately needs is priceless.   did anyone else notice that the sick doctor kept calling george o'leary instead of o'malley????

    bailey is great as always and love her new "do"!

    i think that's it.....lol....enough for now anyway!

    aaarrr i'm dying!!! can somebody please help me?? because i'm not from america and if i want to watch new episodes i need to download it..but in this episode there is no sound in the end at the scene with der/rose ... and i don't know what they're talking about!!!

    but in the other part of this episode..i was a little disappointed because of Mer/Der .. because i expected something more..but i love watching how they're looking at each other :) can't wait to see them together!

    and omg .. is it true that next season is going to be after summer?

     so last nights epi was great. 

    I loved how all the characters story lines have played out thus far. i dont know about Alex and Rebecca. I dont know weather to feel sorry for Rebecca, or to hate her. Is she mental or is she screwing with Alex?

    What was up with Christina and Derek in this episode. I dont think i ever thought i would call her a.. B but i did in this episode. She was being so rude and i was just totally shocked. 

    As far as Derek goes, i dont know the fight was very hard for me to watch between him and Meredith, and when he went home with rose, he really was leaving SGH with an empty seat in his car. 

    This is a break through for meredith too. WE SAW HER CRY. Wow that really is a big thing. She is running she isnt getting drunk.. She is crying.  Now i have a totally off subject question, but ever notice that Ellen's hair is never done in the show? its always pulled back in a pony tail while rose looks stunning with her curls and what not. Just a thought. 

    Tonights epi was so good i have so much to say but ill save you the trouble if you have read this far. :)

    Baby..Booo -- Rose was telling Der off a bit, saying that she slept with him and then from that time on he was making her stressed about it-- questioning herself, needing processed sugar... so basically Der told her that they're not the fairy tale.  He doesn't want the drama, he's had that.  He just wants to have a nice time.  A fun time.  Enjoyable, so let's go to dinner.  Then she took his hand and they left together.

    great stuff...loved it, great acting as well.....cant wait for the finale...........

    but  i dont know how shonda is going to do the merder thing, because right now they are making it difficult for me to even believe they have feelings for each other.
