I decided not to buy season 3 on dvd until season 4 got serious about keeping Meredith and Derek together. The on/off ploy in the writing is so drawn out I find it offensive and an insult to my intelligience that they continue to write in this way. I didn't watch the last 2 episodes on youtube and when season 4 hits australia i wont be watching here either. Thanks every one for all your comments. That was a good episode actually. I was a break up, and it's for the best really. At this moment, I think a relationship with Meredith would be very hard. She's not steady, rather insecure and perhaps damaged... But of course, we see the effects of the strike here, hoewever, I think the episodes to come will be very exciting.Posted 1/11/2008 1:00:00 AM #

Well I've slept on it now and thought about how Season 4 might have possibly ended (depending on the strike) and I find it ironic that the title of the song playing at the end of the episode was "Sweeter than This". I don't think you could say that things were "sweet" between Mer/Der. Although I'm not thrilled with the on again/off again storyline that is Mer/Der, the fact is they aren't in the same place mentally and maybe it's just better that they're apart, as much as I hate to say it. It was clear that Meredith still has a lot of work to do if she's still relying on the same excuse of "I can't trust you". Since "choosing Mer" at the beginning of Season 3, Derek has proven that Mer can trust him. I think Mer just keeps looking for excuses because she's not ready. Well Mer, get ready or face the music!!! It's kind of like piss or get off the pot! I know I've said it before but the strike just has to end. This is getting ridiculous! I don't think Alex and Izzie will get together again, I think what he did for Izzie shows only that Alex is that good boy but he's been jaded by whatever happened to him and he's got to find his way out of things. All of our residents are going through a journey and working on themselves. If you notice the attendings have already been through those stages of growth. Derek knows what he wants, so does Dr. Hahn, Burke knew what he wanted, and so did Addi which is why she made the move. Mark is a different story. But I think we can see a difference between both groups, and it really comes down to a certain level of maturity and life experience. Ah hell, what do I know anyway. GA was the second serie (first time I was 12 lol) I really loved it from the first episode and then in S3 it started to fade away and it is confirmed with S4. What I've learned is that I will never be hooked on a serie again never. Might as well start to watch The Bold and the Beautiful or The days of our lives......Posted 1/11/2008 1:00:00 AM #

trisha, I agre with 100% - Mer & Der are in such different places emotionally & mentally. Last nite - I thought Derek was a jerk and just wanted a warm body but after I slept on it I realize Derek shouldn't have to applogize for knowing what he wants and expecting to reach for it. Mer has a lot to work tru. She reminds me of a junior in high school who has found a great guy (marriage worthy etc)but because of her age and where she is in life - knows it would not be the best thing for them to get married just then. One more thing - I hope everyone remebers that this episode went tru a lot of re-tooling when it looked like the strike might happen. hello to all you lovely people across the pond in the lovely usa or australia please help. i have become quite addicted to greys anatomy and alas the mean abc television people only allow you to watch online not us. The season 4 is not out here for ages but i have naughtily downloaded each episode up to this one can someone please upload lay your hands onto limewire so i can watch it until the box sets become on sale. im not to naughty beacuse i still buy the boxsets its just we cant watch online from here. pretty please love debs. ps mcdreamy is crazy if he doesnt get it on properly with dr grey.Posted 1/11/2008 1:00:00 AM #

Yeah I really don't like Rose. Meredith seems like she goes at an extremely slow pace when it comes to settling because Derek as been married already. He's settled once before as we all know. And we all know that Derek can't be alone. I think Derek is messing this up for himself. Meredith will get there eventually.
