Attached is a link to a PD interview from Daytona within the last day or two. So even though he doesn't know what will happen after this episode, it certainly sounds as if decisions are made and you will know where things are headed from this point. I wish I were more excited, but I can't muster as much as I would like. The prospect of not having anymore GA untill next Sept is super frustrating, especially since there are so many storylines to tie up. I hear Rose is going to stick around, which doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. I hated Addie at first and then she became one of my favorite characters.Posted 1/9/2008 1:00:00 AM #

Well, I guess tomorrow night we will get all of our questions answered. Even though I think we all know what those answers are from the promos and spoilers. What a shame about Mer/Der! There was so many other ways Shonda could have handled this situation with Mer/Der. Why didn't she just split them up at the beginning of this season and then let them find their way back to each other. That would have been so much more believable. Now with what she is doing to Derek is definately taking the McDreamy out of his character! I just hope Shonda doesn't ruin the relationship between Mer/Der to the point where it will be too unbelievable for them to EVER make it work as a couple again! I am really excited! I do not think that their relationship will be ruined. I think that they need this. The need the time apart. Plus, Shonda said that they well never truly be way from each other. Hey Pink and luv4whedon, it's good to see you guys again. Now that the last episode is here, I am really feeling the effects of the strike. If you think about it, we may not have GA back by end of September if the strike continues through the spring and summer. While the new seasons typically begin at the end of September, production ramps up in July in order to be ready for end of September premiere week. Now this is of course a long way off and a worst case scenario, but I haven't heard anything which would suggest the writers and studios are talking!!! Keep your fingers crossed. What does bother me about the strike is its effect on viewers, actors etc... when you go this long without it people invariably move on or become apathetic (save and except us die-hards), and the effects can be disastrous on a show's ability to recover. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. As for tonight's episode, I'm sad it will be the last one. If it's true that Rose is sticking around, then I'm disappointed, but I was thinking as I re-watched season 2 over Christmas that when Derek was trying to make it work with Addi, he was clearly unhappy. Derek may choose to make a go of it with Rose, but I think he'll ultimately find himself in the same position he did in Season 2 with Addi. He won't truly be at ease or happy unless he's with his soulmate, and I am convinced that's Meredith!! Shonda has told us as much. Unfortunately, Derek has to see it and so does Meredith, and we have to get them to the point where they see that together. So Meredith has some work to do, but in my view so does Derek. Don't get me wrong, my wish would be to see that happen sooner rather than later, but nothing in life is ever easy and the strike isn't helping things. At the end of the day, I hope the strike ends soon. Can't wait to chat with you all after tonight's inpromptu finale! See you all on the flip side!Posted 1/10/2008 1:00:00 AM #

THIS could be the last episode of the season and guess what?!?!?1? IT FALLS ON MY BIRTHDAY!!! YAY TODAY IS MY BDAY ON GREY'S ANATOMY NIGHT!!! IM SOOOO EXCITED!! Its good to see you tooo Trisha and Luv4 and MATT!!! it has been a long time. Since the break I guess I needed a break also. Its good to be back though I missed ALL OF YOU!! I hope there's a happy ending for MerDer too. I want Derek to finally realize that Meredith is it. Sure, sometimes she's a pain, but I believe that she really is fighting for him. I want to believe that Derek will find this out, and all will be good for MerDer. I have to bring this back up, though. MerDer has been the ONLY couple to make it through all four seasons. I can't believe that the writers whould do something horrible, like break the two up for good! I hope that this writers strike ends soon, (GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT ALREADY!!!) and I hope Derek confronts Rose and they call it off. (Rose and Derek, not Meredith and Derek) Btw, from my perspective: THIS CAN'T BE THE LAST GREY'S ANATOMY EVER!!! I WON'T ALLOW IT!!Posted 1/10/2008 1:00:00 AM #
